I didn't vote, but that's quite a good list. Couple things I'd put elsewhere and stuff like that, but pretty solid.

Wait, why is Naked Gun 33 1/3 the only Naked Gun movie on the list? That's insane.

Triple A

33 1/3 got 4 votes, the first only got 2. :wtf:

I voted for 33 1/3 because I'd seen it like a day before and was pissing myself still at the time at "Like a midget at a urinal, I would have to be on my toes".

I'm glad somebody finally counted the votes. Well done Miz :y:

Vega and his stupid friends almost ruined this list. After I fished counting theirs, the top 6 were 3 LOTR and 3 Star Wars. Luckily almost everyone after that had Pulp Fiction and Godfather in there somewhere.

John la Rock

Boondock Saint

I think it is so funny when people say a movie was bad just cos they didn't like it.

You THOUGHT it was bad guys. grammar.

I know what I'm going to get with Lord of the Rings. 3 boring hours of shit acting and an uninteresting plot. Now You Got Served for example, has the potential to be so bad it's funny. Even if it just plain sucks ass, it's only 1 1/2 hours, while LOTR is 3 hours of ass-suck.

And don't use the "you don't have the patience to understand this masterpiece" argument. One of my top 25 favorite movies ever is Once Upon A TIme In America, which is much longer than LOTR.

LOL I rented Once apon a time in America the other day (cause I heard it was good) and it was one of the most overrated piece of crap movies I've ever seen. Half the movie is watching those stupid kids who can't act for shit. What a fucking waste of time. And what a boring plot and dialogue that almost made me fall asleep. That movie just carried on for way too long. I can't tell you how many times I looked at my clock waiting for that shit to end.

At least the Lord of the Rings has action, amazing effects, and scenery. The acting is ok for the most part but it's not really relevent to the picture.

Again you're one of the very few who doesn't like LOTR

The Miz

Well this argument is over, If you actually think LOTR is better than Once Upon a Time in America I won't waste my time.

It depends really. I hated Taxi Driver to the extent where it's one of my least favourite movies ever but I wouldn't classify it as a bad film in the same way I'd peg most B-movie horrors as bad.

One question - there must have been some ties in there (right?) - how were they seperated?

I like LOTR, but I don't see the comparison with Once Upon A Time in America.

You are stupid, though.

LOTR, the first was good, the other two were just action movies. Still ok, but nowhere near as good as the first.

Unforgiven
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
2001, A Space Odessey

They're classic stories of good vs bad. I didn't rattle off a ton of titles here, just 2 that I believe are far better than whatever their rankings turned out to be. 2001 is a sci-fi, pretty much the farthest thing from a western, so there.
