Pearl Harbor. I had just saw Enemy at the Gates (which i thought was great) and everyone was billing Pearl Harbor to be the greatest movie of all time, I thought it kind of sucked.

Yeah another vote to Pearl Harbor. And speaking of Micheal Bay, Bad Boys II as well.

I enjoyed punch drunk love when I saw it, but that was before everyone was talking about it. I didn't see what was so hugely amazing about it, but that's just me.

LOTR stuff was pretty crap.
Star wars films are horrible.
Matrix reloaded was boring.

Monsters Inc.

Spiderman. It was good and I did enjoy it, but I couldn't help but feel that someone had swallowed the first ten years of Spiderman mythos and vomited it onto film. And it certainly did not live up to the hype.

And I get the distinct feeling that part 2 is going to be more of the same.

John la Rock

I think Spiderman 2 is going to be much better than # 1. Like the comics and television shows Spiderman just gets better and better.

Although I agree that # 1 was a bit overrated

I dunno, it's only the second movie and they're already heaving the "Peter Parker: Spiderman no more" crap around.
They need to quit dicking around and get to Venom already.

Oh, yeah. That's what the average moviegoer wants to see.

"Hey, remember that regular, everyday New York kid who got super powers in the last movie. Well, this time, he's joining all the other superheroes in a war in outer space. Yeah, and he comes back with this alien symbiote that he thinks is just a cool costume. Then, he ditches it and it joins with one of Peter's enemies. He's cool! And he's CGI!"

Use Doc Ock, Electro, Rhino, and some of his earthly enemies for this one and the next. Then, maybe by the time SM4 or 5 comes around, people will be ready for Venom and Carnage.

I had heard really good things about it, and just watched it for the first time a couple of months ago. I mean it's a decent flick, but nothing spectacular. :-\!

I would agree with Mulholland Drive, and I might get some flack for this, but I was a bit disappointed in Goodfellows, not that it was a bad film, but I'd saved it and there was so much hype and good reviews I figure I had it on a pedestal before I watched it, plus so many people were comparing it to Godfather, which I think is unreasonable and kind of unfair.

I forgot about Scarface. May be the most over-rated movie I've ever seen. Apparently black people like it though since literally EVERY rapper who has ever been on that show Cribs flaunts their copy of it in the DVD collection.

It's the idea that Tony Montana came from the gutter and "lived the American dream" and people who start in the gutter see Scarface and idolize the Tony Montana character because they relate to him.

Don't get me wrong, Pacino owned that movie, the way he did the character was brilliant...but the movie around him was "eh" minus the very last scene.
