Chris Benoit w/ Eugene in corner vs. Triple H - World Heavyweight Championship
Undertaker w/ Paul Heyman vs. Eddie Guerrero -- WWE Title/Casket Match
Shawn Micheals vs. Kane -- streetfight
Rob Van Dam vs. Booker T -- U.S. Title
Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton vs. Christian -- Intercontinental Title
John Cena vs. Kurt Angle
Edge vs. Shelton Benjamin
Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero -- Cruiserweight Title
Dudleys vs. Hardyz (assuming Jeff is cleared to return) -- Interpromotional Tag Team Match
According to Meltzer. What you guys think?
NO JBL? Maybe he can replace Angle if Angle not ready. Or maybe JBL can become the NEW GM.
Maybe Eugene can make his heel turn and shock the world.
Where's Batista? This guy never gets love. Maybe he can replace Shelton.
Where's Big Show?
This card is bogus as hell.Meltzer is a liar.

Big Show isn't due back till Sept I think, but I haven't heard Meltz report this anywhere. Ive seen this card posted saying its form Meltzer, but I haven't seen him report it.

didn't realize that, although it doesn't mean much, "card subject to change".
But like I said I'm not 100%, I just recall hearing Sept from somehwere.

OK Card, I don't buy Summerslam, so it really doesn't matter for me. Few points though.
I wish they would go ahead and do RVD (heel) vs Eddie for the Title. I'd rather see that then see Taker work as a heel for a short time and feud with Eddie.
The Orton/Edge/Christian match looks great, but I'd rather see the IC Title get put on eathier Benjamin or Edge. They should continue the Orton/Benjamin feud IMO. But Christian is one of those guys on Raw who gets good heel heat, but he's kind of stuck righ now. I seriously wouldn't mind a Christian/Benoit program for the Title after Summerslam.
Dudleys/Hardy's is ridiculous. How many times do we have to see this?
Cena/Kurt is good and they've had good buildup together.
I've also heard they might make it a Triple Threat for the World Title with Eugene/Benoit/HHH.

If they really believe in Eugene, they might as well have Hunter win the title from Benoit at Vengeance and then do Hunter-Eugene at Summerslam. They could have Eugene beat Hunter tonight on RAW, and then use that to make it seem like Eugene might actually win the World Title.
Not saying thats what they 'should' do, but if they are even thinking of putting Eugene in a World Title match, it might as well be one-on-one.
Some of that card seem logical, but a lot of it doesn't.

I don't know if I would have Eugene go over Trips tonight and I certaintly wouldn't have Trips go over Eugene. I'd end the match in DQ with Evolution interfering. I'd wait until a big one on one PPV match before I'd have Eugene go over Trips. Eugene going over Trips in a tag match I wouldn't mind, but I wouldn't waste it for tonight and have Eugene go over, save it for a bigger night.

But my thinking was that if they were to have Eugene-HHH as a PPV match, with HHH as champ, they could use Eugene beating Hunter as a reason to have the match. Then Hunter could beat him at the PPV.

If that's the card for Summerslam (which I doubt it is), I'm probably not going to order it. Besides, shouldn't Rocky be on there? If it was Rock vs Orton in some capacity, I'd order it.

STOP POSTING THESE THINGS!
Sure, parts of the Great American Bash card were right, but a lot of it was garbage. This is not the Summerslam card. Fuck, they haven't even started the storylines for VENGEANCE yet.

Oh I see, you have it going the other way around with Trips over Eugene at a PPV. Yeah, I would have Eugene over Trips on a singles Raw match and then HHH over Eugene at a Title PPV match. :y:

RVD vs. Dupree in a Flag Match?
Rico and Charlie vs. the Chavos?
Rey Mysterio vs. Mark Jindrak?
Kenzo Suzuki's in-ring debut?
Aside from the bullrope match, the handicap, and the fact that there would be a U.S. Title match involving both Cena and Booker T (and whatever the hell this Diva thing is), it wasn't at all. They got the main event and one of the attraction matches, but the entire undercard was fucked.

That's because:
* Chavo Classic is no longer with the company, leading to
* Rey Mysterio is the Cruiser Champion, and
* Rico is hurt for at least 2 months.
Half of those matches aren't bad.
I'd like to see where they can go with Shelton Benjamin vs. Edge and John Cena vs. Kurt Angle, provided he's in ideal shape.

This is all true, but with Chavo still under contract and just under two weeks to go until the PPV, the seed hadn't even been planted for a Guerreros Tag Title match. All signs pointed to a Classic vs. Rey title match, not a tag match.

Again, thats because the Chavo situation broke on the weekend. Its likely they would have shot an angle to get the Chavos a tag title shot last week, but because of Chavo it was re-booked.
Rey had been told that they had nothing for him, which leads me to think the idea of him being jobbed out to Jindrak was accurate, but now that Chavo got fired, he's back in the CW title picture, and the crad will be changed somewhat.

Why the fuck would you have Eugene in Benoit's corner and not have Flair in Game's corner? I thought Flair was Hunters lap dog, but I could be wrong ( shock, horrer )
All the matchs look pretty stupied to me. Call me crazy but I could have swore I saw John Cena vs Kurt Angle last year at 'No Mercy'
Orton vs Jericho would have been worth watching maybe but they have just added Christian on to it so......bad match
Shawn Michaels vs Kane street fight I very much doubt will be worth watching
Edge vs Shelton no comment
Rob Van Dam vs Booker T it has Booker T in it so it's going to be a load of shit
Rey Mysterio vs Chavo Gurrero should be ok but I've already seen it at 'No Mercey' this year
Chris Benoit vs HHH I say Eugene will interfere and cost HHH the match ( that little shit )
Undertaker vs Eddie should be ok, maybe not match of the year but should you should atleast be able to watch it unlike some of the other matchs
Dudley Boyz vs The Hardys I get chills just think about it
My conclusion: Nothing with Christan, Booker T and The Dudley Boyz in it turns out to be good so not buying it.

Not bad, not great, but a Casket match will be kinda cool for me to see live. We'll see how accuarate this really is closer to SS, it's still two months away.
