Vince continues to think that the character will be a major success in the long run, though the word in the locker room is that Kevin Fertig has some potential but he is too nervous right now to get over properly. One source has even said that "He's terrified before he even goes out there."
New WWE signee Takako Inoue from Japan is headed to Minnesota to train under Brad Rheingans so that she can familiarize herself with the American style of pro-wrestling. On a funny note, John Laurinaitis had asked her how old she was during her tryout. She told him that she was 35 (which is true). Laurinaitis instantly got a shocked look on his face and told her that she looks like she's 23. Takako was reportedly thrilled to hear that.
For anyone wondering, Rene Dupree never uses the same "Fifi" twice. Before heading into a city WWE calls ahead to try and find a look-alike. Every dog is local and the dog's real owner is usually allowed backstage. Many backstage at Smackdown say that the dog is a morale boost as after long afternoons before TV tapings, many dog lovers spend time with the dog before the show.
