10-man battle royal- I Really don't want to see another CHavo vs Rey again Billy kidman would have been a better pic...I saw paul london for the first time in awhile though.
Back Stage fight- Mordecai vs Holly....Makes me like Mordy so much more.

Being that i rarely watch Velocity and this was maybe the second or third time seeing Paul London in action I must say I was impressed. I decided to not read the spoiler of this week just to see if Smackdown is more enjoyable. However i know Billy Gunn is going to lose and Mordecai is going to win. I dont need a spoiler to tell me that.
Cole said something along the lines of the Undertaker vs. John Cena is the "Biggest match in SmackDown history" to his recolection... Last time I checked, a world title match is more important/bigger than a one on one match... IE: The Iron Man Match...
Also, looks like the salt/powder is back...

I Have no faith in anything being done right with the cruisers, Does Funaki get pinned in 3 seconds again?

also uh...Cena taker has been done before. Ihope they're not trying to hype this like its the first time. Cena better not get beasted either.

It was over the top, and lasted I think longer than the WM battle royal... Maybe not, but it was better :o

I thought SD was another good effort this week, continuing the recent trend. I liked the Battle Royal because it actually seemed fairly lengthy (compared to what they usually give us) and I kept hoping for London to win, he held on a few times. :-\ DOn't mind Chavo but WWE seem to think Rey/Chavo/Noble are their only cruisers. Clearly one of them should hold it to establish it after the Jackie/Chavo Classic stuff and allow for one of these un-used guys to challenge for it.
Everything else I enjoyed for what it was. Cena/Taker was fairly good and made Cena look pretty strong, IMO.
I'm still a little unclear/confused about the Taker/Dudleyz Concrete Crypt match though...

I was glad to see both Billy Kidman and Hardcore Holly get owned, but I was pissed off that WWE misused London again, even though I knew it was going to happen.

That Battle Royal > WMXX's Battle Royal. Funaki actually took some work to eliminate this time.
Eff it, even Kidman was great in that, but how he went out (Chavo doing the Gory Special hold into a backwards toss out of the ring) was...classic.
I do think the other cruisers need more air time than this. A Cruiserweight match on the card every Smackdown would be nice. This match was actually worthy of the good ol' WCW days.
But only one thing... why can't Kidman do his UTA Pedigree anymore? I know he used to X-Pac it for a while until he came up with a different finisher, but I like that inverted Pedigree a little better. He only used it once in WWE since he came over.

That main event was the best SD! match in like... months. It was an excellent match, 3.5 - 4 stars IMO, and it made Cena look incredibly strong without making Taker look weak. Taker had a nasty cut, hope he's okay, but that match was awesome. It's matches like this that can help elevate a high midcarder up to main event. This is how you make a person who loses still look better than he did when he came in. So :y: :y: :y: :y: for that.
The Cruiser thing was cool... tho Akio and London went out way too early. Cool finish, though, and I have a good feeling about the match Chavo and Rey will have on Sunday. Hopefully I'm right. :D

What's it look like?

well, I forgot what the move was called when Kidman used it... but basically... it looks like a Pedigree, except your rear end faces the opponent.

I knew there was a reason why I liked that main event. That was a nice main-event. No complaints there.
Its been a while since Taker put on a really good match.
btw, did anyone notice the RAJAH.COM sign?

No, actually. When was it shown?
How did that sign get sneaked through security? :?:

^^ he probably brought a posterboard and marker and wrote on it in the seat or something. It's how my cousins used to sneak in WCW signs at smackdowns. Funny shit lol

I noticed it during the Taker match cause thats the only match I actually paid attention to. It was about 3rd or 4th row back on the left. They had a marker cause it first said RAJAH and then when it was held back up it had .com written at the end.

I dug SmackDown this week.
What remains to be seen is if they can build off of it. They gave themselves a golden opportunity to build up mid-card cruiserweight feuds during the battle royal (London vs. Nunzio, for example), so I would love to see cruiser matches that aren't for the title (and aren't #1 Contender matches).
I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I was entertained by the Undertaker last night. The more he plays this demi-deadman character, the more he seems to be taking on the old Deadman persona, and that's a good thing. Plus, seeing him actually sell for Cena made it that much better.
Still not that impressed with Kenzo Suzuki, but Luther Reigns looked good against Eddie. I seriously hope that he turns out to be worth the effort they seem to be putting into him. He's strong, scary-looking, and seemingly very athletic, so he could be a good main-event monster somewhere down the line.
I've liked Mordecai since his debut, but having him attack Hardcore Holly moved him even higher up my list :)
Very good show last night, and I'm looking forward to seeing if they can maintain this momentum after GAB.
Speaking of which, who else can't wait for that Sandbox Match? Oh...that's right. IT'S NOT HAPPENING!

I gotta agree, good SD this week. Good main event with Taker/Cena, even as they hyped it up as the BIGGEST main event on SD ever. Even surprised to see how long the CW Battle Royal was, went much longer than the WM XX match. Not impressed by Kenzo Suzuki, Luther Reigns isn't too bad.
This whole Concrete Crypt/Live Free or Die match...what ever they are calling the match, still seems kind of confusing. So at least to me, this is the most unpredictable match on the card. You would think Heyman doesn't want to sacrifice the Dudleyz to Taker, so is there even gonna be a match?
Do gotta say that I loved it when Mordecai yelled to Holly " I'm gonna crucify you!!".
And lastly, when they did the preview for GAB, there was only 5 matches. So either, theres only gonna be 5 matches, or they will throw a few matches on the card this weekend. I guess they might throw on Mordecai/Holly, Suzuki/Gunn rematch, and possibly something with Luther.

Plus, the U.S. Title match is elimination-style, so it could go upwards of a half-hour.
