Yeah Smackdown has been going downhill lately. Who needs to brought in to help improve the product? Workers, staff, writers anyone you can think of from the Raw Roster or outside the WWE?
Discuss and stuff.
Rhyno
Jericho
Matt Hardy
HBK
Val Venis
Steven Richards
Shane Helms (not as the Hurricane, and without SHIT)
Stacy (non-wrestling women should be on Smackdown)
Heyman should be a writer if he already isnt.

IMO Smackdown need to get Jericho and Edge from Raw. Jericho needs to turn heel again and Edge needs to get a push. Ken Shamrock would be a great signing for Smackdown, A solid worker who played a great gimmick. AJ Styles, will probably not be leaving NWATNA for a long time, but he would be great for Smackdown if used correctly.
Also I'd like to see The Rock appear on Smackdown when he makes one of his irregular appearances, Afterall it is 'his' show and was named after him.
Also any two of the following would be useful additions.
Rhyno, 'Sugar' Shane Helms, Matt Hardy, Chuck Palumbo, William Regal, Test, Steven Richards, Slyvain Grenier.
Rhyno, Christian, Tajiri, Jericho and Shane Helms

Erm...basically, any remaining cruiser / lightweights from RAW--i.e., Shane Helms, Taijiri, Edge (though I realize Edge isn't so much in the cruiserdivision...he just seems to be in the generally-lighter-wrestler audience). Edge is a definite, but I guess that's already been said. For some reason, Test seems like more a Smackdown guy to me...I dunno why. He might be able to get a "fresh start" kind of thing when he comes back, and regain some credibility if he's moved to Smackdown.

In an ideal world-
Chris Beniot
Brock Lesnar
Hulk Hogan
The Rock
Triple H
Chris Jericho
Edge
And any other superstars they either lost or sent to RAW without replacing them on Smackdown!
In Reality- Cancel the Brand Split. "But we can't theres to many people now whine whine whine whine whine whine whine!!!!" Too many people+bad ratings=time for layoffs.
Heres some layoff idea's for them, to make things a little easier-
Mark Jindrak/ Garrison Cade
Scotty 2 Hotty
A-Train(If you wont use him, lose him)
The FBI and everyone related to them

It was easier than when your mom shit you out, Ever wonder why your twin brother was a brown stain on the mattress?
Anyways Jericho plays the best cocky arrogant heel in the company right now and Smackdown needs it. So fuck off

I reckon Smackdown needs the following:
1. An RVD Heel Turn to the max!
2. A successful assasination on JBL
3. Chavo to turn face, and then have the option of Los Guerreros back in the picture.
4. Make Noble the main CW heel
5. Develop a legitimate tag division
6. Don't let Stephanie McMahon write storylines. Ever.
7. Move Edge over to Smackdown, and keep him as a face
8. Move John Cena up to challenge for the main event instead of the US title
9. Give Dupree the US strap and see what he can do.
10. Get rid of the deadweight like Holly.
11. Bring back Big Show as soon as he's ready
12. Bring back Brock Lesnar, under any conditions
13. Bring back Matt Morgan from OVW
14. Introduce more Angle comedy moments into the show
15. Keep the McMahons off the air
16. More Paul Heyman
17. Heyman & Dudleys & a few select others to form stable
18. Pay attention to what internet fans say - we're not all assholes!
19. Let the Cruiserweights loose a bit on the moves
20. Have a Smackdown 'King of The Ring' tournament (that JBL can't win)
21. More strange Undertaker
22. Less Booker T
23. Less new guys squashing Scotty 2 Hotty, Shannon Moore, etc.
24. Good long term strategic planning, tied into well written storylines.
and last but not least.....
25. Hire some new writers. (CV available on request)

I disagree with a lot that's been said. A heel Jericho will not fix up SmackDown! in the slightest, IMO. The writing is fine. The current roster is fine. Where the problem lies I think is in the usage of that roster.
Guys like Paul London, Billy Kidman and Akio should be stealing the show. Let them. Let JBL cut his promos, but have him defend every week against someone like Shannon Moore. It would instantly show off what they've got, as well as geet the fans behind them in a second. Guys like Orlando Jordan are barely recognized on SD!. Give wrestles that need attention to get over (like Jindrak) attention.
I think everything's set up perfectly, all that's needed now is a good FBI/Dupree feud, a Kyo Dai/FBI feud, a Mordecai feud with anyone, a John Cena/Kenzo Suzuki feud, a Booker T/JBL feud (maybe) and whatever else. Oh yeah, a Kidman & London WWE Tag Team Championship win.

Goldberg, he's the most logical choice.
He wont come cheap, he wont work all the dates, but the dude is over bottom line.
Unfortunately this will never happen because Vince wont admit he needs help and give in to Goldberg's demands.
Everyone else (guys like Jericho, Edge, Benoit, etc) wont help because they are guys who have over exposed on WWE TV and nobody would see it as a big deal if they moved shows. Yeah a guy like Jericho would be a good opponent for Eddie and Cena, but numbers wise he's not going to do anything.
Goldberg still has some skills, and he's never really been pushed right as a heel, so maybe that would be enough to get some heat on SD.
But like I said, I dont think it will happen.

CyNick go look at the Q and A section and see if you can answer my ?
First of all, I'd have Taker go to Raw. He fits better on there. As for Smackdown, I'd probably have La Resistence go over there. They would fir better in Smackdown's tag division. Maybe I'd have Kane make a jump too.

you know who WWE needs to put on SD!?
Better writers. They have all the talent and everything. I mean talent wise there are more of them on SmackDown than on Raw. Sure charisma wise it's rather close but overall Smackdown holds the edge over Raw. All Smackdown needs are better writers to put better stuff together.
It is not the wrestlers but the people that are writing the stuff for the wrestlers to do.
I'd say, in terms of current wrestlers on the roster:
HBK
Helms
Edge
Christian
Undertaker should be sent to Raw...

People talk about the writing on Smackdown, and I agree its bad, but its bad on RAW too.
The difference between the two is that the RAW roster is deeper. RAW can mix around 5 or 6 guys (maybe more) and put them in World Title matches, and at least 5 of those guys are going to have good-great matches with each other. Meanwhile on SD, they dont have any more than 2 guys who are real main eventers (Taker and Eddie), and there's no guarantee that would even be a good match.
So what you get on RAW is some bad writing, but its covered up by HBK vs Benoit going 25 minutes, or HHH vs HBK or Benoit vs HHH or HHH vs Jericho or Edge vs Orton or Orton vs Benoit, etc etc. So at the end of the show, you dont feel like you've seen such a bad show because usually you'll get at least two decent matches. SD doesn't have that. Yeah they could put Rey out there against Eddie and they would tear down the house, but nobody sees Rey as a real main eventer, so it will die in the ratings. And then if you take a guy like Cena and put him with Taker, yeah thats a pretty good match in terms of star power, but its not going to be anywhere near as good as any Benoit match on RAW. Thats the big difference.
A guy like Goldberg will never have great matches, but at least he's a huge star and that might be enough to draw people back to the show. And then you dont have to have a guy like Bradshaw being rushed to the main events when the fans aren't ready for him to be in that spot.

Lose JBL, bring Shawn Michaels in as their top heel, and bring Chris Jericho in also. To compensate RAW for their loss they should trade John Cena and make him a heel/tweener. Smackdown needs to focus on their cruiserweight division and let them loosen up on their moves A LOT! Remember WCW's cruiserweight division? With the talent WWE has how the hell can they not make both their brands work. Oh yeah, might as well bring Hurricane into Smackdown in their cruiserweight division since he does shit (no pun intended) on RAW. Push Mordecai through the roof like they pushed Undertaker 13 years ago, and give him his own Ministry. They also need to stop telling the boys to wrestle slower-paced matches so the main event can look the best. Let them do what they do best, that's what works. If the undercard turns out to be better than the main event... well, what the fuck does that tell you then? Also, to make both brands seem more interesting, they should both actually ACT like their feuding, like WWF vs WCW. A few shots hear and there wouldnt hurt (like Jericho and Piper were doing last year). Maybe the most important thing WWE needs to do to make SmackDown (and RAW for that matter) interesting is HIRE NEW FUCKING WRITERS!!! Writers who know the industry, who are fans first, guys like Vince Russo and Paul Heyman. RAW has actually been good since Wrestlemania, but man has SmackDown fucking deteriorated! And now JBL is fucking champion!!! I swear I won't watch another episode of SmackDown until he is out of the main event scene.
Edit: Also, Smackdown needs to stop having pointless BORING matches that run too long. For that matter RAW does too, but like Cynick said the quality of matches is at least better at RAW. Each wrestler on TV should at least have something interesting going on storyline-wise, something other than Wrestler A fighting Wrestler B for no reason.

Retype that with proper punctuation and grammar, insert some paragraphs and then I will read it.
That is all.
