-- Thanks to Sanjay Bagga for sending in the following:

I can confirm that the WWE Superstar that will at Hamleys this Saturday 10th July at 10am is THE BIG SHOW. I have just spoken to their head office, who also said it will be 10am-12 midday.

A bit early for my liking but I will be there! It's not ticket based, just show up and line up.

-- In addition to this, it is pretty much confirmed that the reason WWE moved one of their October shows from a Saturday to the Monday will tie in with the “coming soon to the UK” announcement on WWE.com, which will be the confirmation that Smackdown! & RAW will be taped in England for the first time this coming October. This will signal the most meaningful WWE attraction in the UK since SummerSlam was held in Wembley Arena.

Thanks to Lee Relph for the following.... On Raw here in the UK, an over dubbed announcement from Jim Ross told us UK fans that the WWE was planning a special treat for us, and the WWE will be doing something for the first time ever in the UK". JR also told us to keep an eye on wwe.com (which has the same announcement at http://international.wwe.com/uk.htm) and WWE programming on Sky TV for further details. As I'm sure most UK Net fans are aware, this "big surprise" is that the WWE are looking at taping episodes of Raw and Smackdown over here. Both brands are going to be on tour here in Blighty in October. It will be interesting to see how they pull this off as far as continuity goes as Raw and Smackdown respectively air four and two days after the US screenings over here. Interestingly enough, the Smackdown brand date in Nottingham has been moved from Saturday 9th to Monday 11th. Could the tapings schedule be the reason? The International page at wwe.com also say that a top WWE Superstar will be appearing at Hamleys toy store in Regent Street, London next Saturday 10th July, but doesn't say who just yet.

WWE has posted three new job openings on their official Jobs website (www.jobs.wwe.com). The vacancies are; a content editor to update the various sites they have, a Senior Web Designer and a Manager of Market Research. For full listings of their current job openings visit the website.

Finally, the WWE show scheduled for Saturday October 9th in Nottingham UK has been rescheduled for the Monday following (11th).
