Okay they have Randy Orton on the promo poster.. He has a match with Edge for the IC title, Odds are Edge will win.. my question why hype up a wrestler with the chance they might lose..( which i hope he dont )

Posters don't really mean much. Remember that. Bad Blood had Edge on it and it didn't mean nothing. GAB had Torrie on it. And it didn't mean anything. I could go on, but I don't feel like it anymore...

Because that wrestler is somewhat popular and they want to sell the card. Plus why put the winning wrestler on every poster, then every time they come out with a new promo poster, you know who wins.

so he gets pissed that HHH wasn't there for him and keeps having to worry about HHH and the World Title. When HHH loses his match against Benoit from interference from a fan..........
......
anyways, HHH will be all over Eugene costing him he title probably, then Randy can turn on him, becoming the other main face RAW needs.
Again, no spoiler warning
j/k
Well, I doubt Randy will lose cleanly, if he even does. I think that he should have lost it at the last PPV, but he has kept it even longer. If he does lose, however, he will probably break from Evolution, and get a big singles push into the main event slot.
"Randy losing the title isn't a bad thing, its a good thing" :D

talking about how Randy is getting primed for a face turn, the more exposure he gets (i.e. ppv poster) the better

Man, that poster's freaky.
it's like a giant Orton, with loads of mini-ortons beating people up!
That's gonna mess with your mind if you look at it too long!

Randy won't job as there's been sod all build up for the match,
they had a match a while ago on Raw and Edge confronted Orton after Backlash, but that's been it. Edge May go over in a summerslam rematch though

And that's why they put Undertaker on the Judgement Day posters...
But now-a-days, we do know who wins because HHHWE (Hunter Hearst Helmsley Wrestling Entertainment) is so damn predictable...
*bets Eugene will be on the SummerSlam poster*

Its just a rotation type thing. Shows that they consider Orton one of the top guys, but nothing else. Wait till we see JBL on the poster for Unforgiven or something.
Anyway, I dont see Orton dropping the title. As was mentioned, Edge hasn't had a big enough build, and quite frnakly I dont think he's over enough/deserves to beat Orton. I figure Orton retains, Edge moves on to either Batista or HHH and then Orton faces and beats Jericho at Summerslam.
I dont think Orton will drop the IC title until Dec, maybe January. At which point he'll jump into the World Title picture against HHH.

For Orton to lose the title, it's gonna have to be a significant and memorable match. I can't see him dropping it to Edge at Vengeance because Orton is being pushed to the moon and going over Edge in a PPV will add momentum to his push (theoretically)

IMO, Vengeance is actually a damn good card. It just doesn't have any build-up.
And i think that Michael Cole and J.R. should be on the SummerSlam poster. Like the Rock/Brock pick only with Cole/J.R. :shifty:
Speaking of which, Is NoJabba's thread still up in casual

The card is okay, its going to seem like gold compared to the Bash, but its not great for a RAW PPV. HHH-Benoit could be as good as MOTY, and worse case scenario it will be a "good" match, unless they do something dumb like over book it with Euegene or do a DQ .
Orton-Edge is a crap shoot, I thought their match on RAW a while back was a train wreck at first, but settled down to a good finish. They've been working a lot on the road, os it should be better than it was on RAW. But it could also be ugly.
Jericho-Batsita wont be bad, but it wont be great either.
Tag title match has no heat, but with Eugene and Flair it will likely get over live. Probably will be more fun than actually being a good match.
Kane-Hardy will be up to how well Hardy bumps around for Kane. I dont expect much form this one though.
The other problem with the show is that they still have as many as 3 spots left open. I hate matches that get thrown on a show with no build, they usually come off dead on TV. Aside from a match with the girls, I cant see who else would be given PPV time.
So on paper it looks like an average show, likely one really strong match, and a couple that could go either way. But I think the added matches will end up hurting the overall quality of the show. If this was a 2 hour show I'd say it looks really strong, but that third hour might be troubling.

I could care less for Edgeward so I hope he does not get the title. As put before, anyone who beats Orton now will be remembered because of RKO's current long reign so far. That spot should be kept for someone alot better than Mr. Edge. They gave him the Tag Titles, but that's it. Jericho,Rhyno, M. Hardy, or Benjamin deserve that spot who actually worked long to get a title. Plus, Orton has been doing a good job with that title and I'm not the biggest RKO mark (LC is).
Oh,and Vengence at least has had a better build-up that the last Smackdown PPV. All they had was Dudleys and Bradshaw.

I think Orton will drop to Edge on Sunday, mainly because of Edge's promo against HHH last night. He takes out Orton, and HHH won't give a shit because he'll be worried about his match against Benoit.

yeah but what you don't realize almighty Loose One is that Orton should move on to the World title scene, the IC title will start to hold him back. You wouldn't want Orton to be held back would you?.......

I don't know about who WILL win the match, but I'd much rather Orton lose to somebody besides Edge. Edge's matches haven't been exactly stellar from what I've seen (though he has had that broken hand) and I'm not a big fan of his gimmick. Have him lose to Christian when he comes back and then we'll talk.

Who says he can't be an IC Champion and World Champion. Warrior did it, Goldberg did it with the U.S. Title, Orton will do it. :D
Lets make bets on who will win the Edge/Orton match. Orton will win.

There's no way Orton is losing. The WWE wants to correct a mistake (Honky Tonk Man being the longest IC champ of all time) and Randy Orton is more than half way there. Randy Orton will hold the title longer than any man ever...
