why do I have a feeling that only bad can come from this? I mean, a few months ago, Jacqueline won the cruiserweight title, lost it, then got released. WTF?

Yeah but she was a last-minute replacement.

DID ANYONE SEE THE 6 MAN CRUISERWEIGHT TAG MATCH?
THAT MATCH WAS GREAT. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. Plus Kidman/London winning was good too. Not to mention the hilarious "El Gran Luchador"!
Smackdown had a very solid show tonight.

To me,the best match was Kidman/London v. Dudleys especially since the winners looked like competitors and not a weak team with a fluke. Plus I laughed my ass off at Kenzo's "smile". Pretty good show, it's too bad I'm going to miss a month of wrestling. It's slowly getting good again.

Lets not hear any whining now, seeing as how ive been hearing al this itching about how this London nobody is awesome.
But he did put on a decent match, glad they gave him some ring time.

Awesome awesome show! Overall, this might have been the best show of the year. The only negative, interestingly enough, was Heyman's speech, which failed to deliver. I really expected Taker to send some sort of message, like maybe the ring going black and when the lights came back on, the urn was gone.
I totally marked out for London and Kidman winning. They looked awesome, and the show of respect was a great touch. The emotion showed how special the belts are. And London on TV is always a great thing.
The 6-man CW tag match was awesome. THIS is what I'm talking about! Let them fly! Let them do their thing! It wasn't a spotfest, but things flowed. Awesome match.
And Cena getting stripped was a touch of excitement. Maybe we'll have a really cool tourney.
Great show again! :y: :y: :y: :y: :y:

Good show tonight. :y: to Kidman/London, and the Cena/US title situation looks interesting.

Oh also, I was kinda bummed Jindrak didn't win. This would have been the perfect opportunity to have Renee interfere and cost RVD the win by messing him up, leading to Jindrak hitting the Mark of Perfection. That way, Jindrak looks stronger, RVD loses but doesn't look weak, and we get a new feud.

Yeah tonight was definently the night to give Jindrak a win. Shame the writers don't think these things out.
Who was in the six man tag match?

The 6 man match was good, but I have a hard time watching Smackdown. There's just something about it that makes me want to fall asleep. Maybe because it reminds me too much of WCW Thunder.

Who was in the six man tag match?
Rey Mysterio and 2 jobbers (Scotty and Spike) VS Chavo, Jamie Noble, and Akio. Noble pinned Spike with his Tiger Bomb after everyone else went crazy with some nice moves.

Damn, sounds like a decent show. I have to wait until Saturday since Detroit likes to give pre-emptions. This time they showed Tigers Baseball.

I'm glad it's pre-empted, though.
I didn't watch SmackDown last week in protest of JBL winning the title and wasn't planning to watch this week, but after reading the results of this week's show, I'm glad it wasn't on last night and will be replayed this weekend. Thank you, Tigers.

Yeah, pretty decent show last night. Definately better then past shows. I think it was a good idea to have Long and Jindrack split, they just seemed like they didn't fit together. And they really should of given Jindrack the win last night. They need to push these up and coming characters and not have them lose all the tme so the fans can at least care about them.
London and Kidman as great and I hope they hold the belts for awhile. They need a fk'n name though. I hate teams who have no name.

Where is Long?
Loose Cannon
07-09-2004, 03:26 PM
Dunno, they just dropped him from Jindrak. He should still manage as he is top quality on the mic, but he didn't fit with Jindrack. I mean what happened to his "Thuggin N Buggin Enterprises?" If possible, he should continue that and search for a tag team to put together that he can manage.

<font color=969696>London and Kidman should stick together and be managed by Torrie. They need a decent tag name, too. The crowd was somewhat into them, but Torrie will give them massive pops.
London is awesome.</font>

Hell no, don't ruin the tag team with torrie, that would be shite. Anyway, what would you guys call them?

SD rocked this week....FINALLY!
I liked just about everything on the show.
Kidman/London winning was an awesome example of how to book a match. You could tell the fans in no way expected them to win, they got beat throughout most of the match, but still got in enough offence to make them look legit. And then when they won the crowd couldn't believe it. Great segment, hopefully they keep going with London and Kidman as champs.
JBL segment was well done, Eddie was hilarious as EGL. Thought they could have done a little more to hype the Cage Match next week, but what can you do.
I like that Jindrak is on SD and is losing. I think we'll find out if the fans care about him now that he's no longer getting shoved down their throats winning all the time. Too bad Long isn't on TV now, I really hope they find someone for him (ORLANDO JORDAN).
6-man was fun to watch, hopefully this is a sign of more CW action on SD. In a perfect world you'd get a program for the title as well as a secondary program with multiple people. I just wish they would have given them 5 or 6 more minutes. It was a fun match, but it could have been an awesome match with more time. Maybe next time...
Stuff with Cena and Angle was good as well. I thought it was the perfect way to take the title off Cena and keep him protected. Hopefully we get a US title tourny starting next week. And hopefully we get conformation that Angle is coming back at Summerslam.
Heyman segment was the only real downer on the show because it didn't go anywhere. And its too bad for the fans in Winnipeg that they didn't get Taker because I'm sure he was used heavily in the advertising.
Great job, hopefully they can keep it going.

16 man tournament, ending with RVD vs. RVD
or
Blind man round robin tournament. In the event of a draw a two man sack race will take place on consecutive Sundays until a winner is decided
After watching Smackdown on my computer... I noted a few  points.
1. Michael Cole with a BAHGAWDBAHGAWDTHEYDIDITTHEYDIDIT after Kidman/London won.
2. Scotty 2 Hotty wearing a WMXX shirt (which is damn outdated) when the superstars were congratulating Kidman/London.
2. Kenzo Suzuki trying to smile and say God Bless America in broken English.

20-man Musical Chairs :shifty:
Just watched the last hour of Smackdown after getting in form work. 6 man was great. The US title match was also good and I liked the way that Angle stripped Cena of the title. If there is a tournament I bet that RVD is defeated by Renee Dupree.

King of the Ring style tourny with the winner getting the crown and the belt. *nods to the wisdom of this*
