I didn't see their CW title match from a few years ago. I've heard it was really good (not surprised cuz Malenko is(was?) an amazing talent) But my Question is did Malenko carry Scotty through the whole match or did Scotty actually do good and contribute throughout the match?

Yeah i know he is a road agent currently, but i didn't want to put that he was an amazing talent, because i bet he could still kick ass if he got in the ring. thanks though!

The match was at Backlash 2000 I think. I remember posting a little while after that match and praising it and surpisingly tons of other people have mentioned it too throughout the years so I guess it's not just me. Dean didn't carry the match I don't think. It was just a good performance by both.

I don't think I actually saw the match, but I wouldn't be too surprised if Scotty could pull out a COUPLE of good matches. He's not really all that entertaining to me, but he's not a HORRIBLE athelete by any stretch.

However, Dean's awesome, and could definitely carry even a bad wrestler to a good match. That's the watermark of a quality wrestler.

The Backlash match was really good. Easy Scotty's top 2 matches of his life. Definately proved he can go when he wants to. And of course everyone knows Malenko was awesome.

Remember that they actually had like... ten matches with each other or something, with three of them for the title. Scotty did impress me a bit, but I thought that Dean did carry a lot of the matches. It wasn't all Dean, but a 80/20 Dean/Scotty work ratio was pretty much it.

Scotty might've had an opportunity to work with somebody that he's always wanted to work with, or something like that, which could've been his top match.

As for the Dean/Scotty matches, there were lots, and I think that Dean carried most of them. When it was an important match, like at a PPV, Scotty tried harder, but that was it. Dean is the man.
