All right now fess up people. I know that probably everyone on here has seen them once or twice. Well when I was a little kid I was obsessed with them. Everything I had was power rangers and I would always act like I was one. I had everything from the toys to the halloween costume and the movies. But tonight when I was watching I love the 90's something popped into my mind. The original power rangers was so bad ass. The first few changes of it were good but now it is completely crap. I like how they have the old Green Ranger Tommy back on the show now but still its just crap. So I was wondering if anyone here might be hopeing that they will put out a Season DVD colletion of them. I know if they put it out that I would probably get it. But would any one else buy it or would I be a lone ranger with everyone laughing at me.

I was a fan of the original show :$

Then they got all gay and got rid of all the original people. I stopped after that gay green ranger turned into the white ranger.

I watched Power Rangers for like a year total. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is still my favorite cartoon of all time. I think i've seen every episode (of the good series, that is) like 5 times. Best cartoon ever :D

Anybody got a year power rangers was on? I think it was like 1994 or something. That would put me in 4th grade. Just curious.

I remember back in kindergarden, we weren't allowed to say the words "teenage mutant ninja turtles" because our teachers thought it promoted violence. That and me and a bunch of my friends broke a lot of stuff emulating them

Was around the point where I was a fan of both (MMPR after the Turtles fell out of favor) I was obsessed with both.

I was a fan of TNMT first and then The power rangers came around. I still am a big fan of the original TNMT. I got there season 1 on dvd the other day. I wish it had more episodes.

As for everone crushing on Amy Jo Johnson. Hell Yeah. I had a huge crush about her and it was so sad that my teacher knew about it and one day she saw an article about Amy in the paper and cut it out for me.

I liked the Power Rangers because they solved all of their problems with violence.

I watched Power Rangers until I was in the 3rd grade (7 or 8). I was obsessed.
My brother, my friends and me would always play Power Rangers. I was always the green ranger btw.

Same with TMNT.

Then I got into Boy Meets World. Topanga

I wanted to be Amy Jo Johnson. And Raphael. I thought it would be the greatest thing ever to dress up in my Pink Power Ranger costume for Halloween and carry around two sais too.

That and I crushed on Jason, the original Red Ranger, big time back in kindergarten. *Sigh.*

Oh, and while I was recently flipping through channels in a pointless effort to find something to watch, I came across the latest Power Rangers... like.. Ninja Storm or some crap, and Tommy's still on there (realize this was already pointed out). I'd feel like crap if my acting career only amounted to the Power Rangers, all the way up even when I was thirty something.

But if the original series ever came out on DVD, I would buy it for sure.

I was marking out when she and Walter ("Zack the Black Ranger") Jones showed up on there.

Power Rangers ruled. But as soon as the original cast went, and the series after the white ranger was introduced started getting stupid, I stopped watching.

I have one of the Megazords somewhere in my loft

Power Rangers was decent. I liked it at the time, but I always thought it was shit how they're turn into zoids and stuff. Loads of awesome kung fu then BAM, shitty big zoid things that moved like a sack of potatoes.

TMNT was always utterly utterly awesome though.

I was laughing my ass off at the racial colors for each character. I seriously never noticed that.

apparently, there's been a Power Rangers DVD release...but it only has 1 ep (Parts 1 & 2) from the original series, and then 4 episides from the later series...

if anyone's interested it's called Ultimate Rangers: The Best of Power Rangers

I always hated Power Rangers... When I was in kindergarden, all my friends LOVED them... I never liked it... Ive watched MAYBE ONE whole show... My mom always tells me that one year I was Batman for Halloween and everyone else was a Power Ranger... My friend got me the white Power Ranger (Almost said Mega Man cause I'm thinking of the Cartman's BDay episode of SP  ) for my BDay, I still have it somewhere, but I never cared for it... I beat it up and threw it around...

Yes, I freakin watched the Power Rangers back in the day myself. But like has been mentioned I mainly watched it because of being in love with Amy Jo Johnson. I wondered what happened to her anyways since on the VH1 show was the first time I've seen her in a long time. I even remember seeing the first movie they put out, but I don't think I ever saw the second.

The movies sucked after the original. And I believe Amy Jo Johnson did Felicity and a movie for Disney, Suzie Q. Or some mess like that. Not sure of anything recent though...

The original Might Morphin' Power Rangers were racist.

The black ranger was subordinate to the white ranger.

I like Captain Planet.... :shifty:

Looting and polluting is not the way
Hear what Captain Planet has to say!

"The Power is Yours!"

*Sigh* How could anyone not like that show? It taught such wonderful values of how to preserve your planet with magical rings that summoned a colorful man.

Eerie enough though, me and a friend of mine were recording ourselves singing the theme song a few weeks back.

We have no life. :)
