Am I the only one who thinks Shannon Moore is doing fine on Smackdown without Matt Hardy? Lately I've been hearing a lot of talk about Shannon Moore needing Matt Hardy to get him more over. What are your thoughts?

As I said in a similar thread, I'm mad impressed with the way he's been going about it. His match with Lessnar, while there was no chance I thought he'd be booked to win, had me really excited. Moore made it look like he had a fighting chance instead of it just being a squash match.

I think Moore is doing better alone, i like him better he isn't in the shadow of Hardy anymore now, so he can finally show his self.

Yeah, instead of being in an entertaining angle with Hardy, now he's a squash bug for all of Heyman's thugs.

Unless he gets repaid for this (like a Cruiserweight title run), I don't see how you people can say that he's in a better position now than he was with Hardy.

Moore's solo career

He's bringing back his boy band gimmick?

Shannon doesn't need anyone to carry him. He's a guy like Ultimo
Dragon, who despite not being used right, has all the talent in the
world, and gets over with the fans because they appreciate that.

He's not big so Vince wont push him past a mid card level.

I've actually heard more good things about Moore than bad in terms of forum opinions recently.

Some may think that his recent squashings were bad for him, but he did pull off a win against A-Train, and he's building tremendous appreciation with his little courage and guts gimmick, where he doesn't back down. I hope they'll follow through with this and logically lead him into a solid role in the CW division, culminating with a title run.

The bookers should give Moore at least a status as one of the better crusiers.. He deserves it.

I've currently enjoyed this whole "pick on Moore" angle, and whoever said it was right, that even though we knew Lesnar would squash Moore, they made it look like he had a fighting chance.

Yeah, it was so much more entertaining watching him be a two-bit failure in Hardy's shadow then watching him in an angle where he's only losing because he's being put up against people 300 times his size and weight, and watching him make it look believable that he might actually win, instead of jobbing on velocity.

DAMN YOU, WWE!

Dude, this is classic babyface/heel material.

Hopefully this gimmick will help him get over to at least CW champion status. Other than that, he'll get nowhere, because Vince hates smaller people, and cruizerwieghts really can't show off thier stuff due to restrictions that the WWE has.

It's a perfect way to get over against the smaller guys.

Shannon Moore is the only one who has been going toe-to-toe with the biggest and "baddest." Hell, give him the Daredevil monicker Jeff Hardy had--It looks more fearless to get tossed around by Lesner than to fall off of high places.
