So I was looking on amazon for some DVD's or something, and then I found a book due to be realised called "The death of WCW"

So what do other people know about this book

It's by RD Reynolds, the webmaster at Wrestlecrap.com.

Apparently, his first book was amazing (although I can't find it ANYWHERE  ). He talks about it a lot on his site.

Indeed, both should be on www.highspots.com which is the site he schills the most.

I usually dont care foer these books by "webmasters", but Bryan Alvarez is involved in this one, so it'll probably be good and accurate.

Actually, RD Reynolds book seems pretty good from the tidbits i have read. I don't know about the new book but it is in conjuction with some guy from Figure Four Weekly.

I think it's both, king.

From what I know (just from reading his commentaries), he really enjoyed WCW during the '90s, which made his disappointment at its rapid decline that much stronger. I would imagine he'll probably be extremely hard on Turner, Bischoff, Russo, and all the WCW higher-ups, while keeping a lot of the tongue-in-cheek stuff he's known for on his site.

I wonder if Jamie Kellner will be in this book, or will they take a page from the WWE and not bother recognizing what actually killed WCW.

Wrestlecrap was never released in England, I got my copy imported from Amazon, I would suggest the same for Death of WCW.

Definitely picking this one up. I know there have been a million different theories around what killed WCW (although most of them revolve around the same three or four people), but a team of RD Reynolds and Bryan Alvarez is just too good to miss.

BUMP

Just got this book the other day and I cant put it down, on the forth chapter at the moment. I was a huge fan of WCW, and it's interesting to read what was going on backstage at the time. I didn't know that British Bulldog was ment to be brought in as the 4th guy in the nWo. That would have been a major  moment.

The only thing I can say about The Death of WCW is buy it. You wont regret it. Go get it right now and DO NOT look for anything else! You'll regret it! Like today I went to go get a CD and I bought The Killers Hot Fuss CD! I'll give it away to anyone for free.

Wrestlecrap is my favorite book. I read it all the time. You should get that as well and Death of WCW at the same time. :)
