I'm using SecureIE 3.1 Professional (basically IE but with a lot of the security gaps filled, tabbed browsing and built in pop up control) on Windows XP Pro.

I keep getting this page that opens up in regular Internet Explorer whenever I use SecureIE. It doesn't matter which site I am visiting, it's always that or a gambling ad. I have adaware and the latest upgrades and McAfee viruscan also with the latest updates. Every time I scan with either, I come up with nothing but ordinary spyware.

try spybot as well, it sounds just like spyware to me

also, if you run adaware...have you tried updating it? look for an icon that looks like a globe and download any new reference files.

I just did that that and found 13 non cleanable files. What now?

If the files are non-cleanable then delete them

I have the fully purchased version and I check for updates everytime I scan. Still coming up with nothing. I'll try Trend Micro, then Spybot if it doesn't help.

I don't know what this shit is, but it's fucking annoying.

I would suggest Hijack this. http://www.spychecker.com/download/download_hijackthis.html

it lists what has intergrated itself with IE, you just tick off what you want to remove.
