In your opinion, Who do u think is the worst or most undeserving World Champion of all time?

How are Sgt. Slaughter and Iron Sheik on this list?
Anyway, I said Arquette. The two Vinces were pretty bad, but at least they had something to do with wrestling. Arquette was (and is) a nobody that they brought in to hype a crappy movie and gave him what was, at the time, probably the most coveted title in the sport.

David Arquette. Self explainable, really.

Arquette, although he never even wanted to win the belt in the first place.

I didn't count Arquette, because he's not a serious contender. It was a publicity stunt that bit them in the ass.

If the question is who is most undeserving I would say Russo or McMahon over Arquette. Only reason being, I can sort of understand why they did what they did (get publicity, its still dumb, but there is some reasoning there). With McMahon and Russo that was just bookers stroking their own egos, for whatever reason I just think thats worse.
But I wouldn't consider any of those guys as "the worst champ ever" because they were never meant to be long term champions, they were just done for ratings or whatever.
So with that in mind I might say Nash, only because he was given such a long run and was well protected before the title win. So he had the best chance, and he failed the most.

I'm sorry, but R2R wasn't a good enough movie to give Arquette the damn belt.

I probably would say arquette but he won in my home town.

Savior, that would have offended me.
I voted for the lucky sonofabitch that is married to Courtney Cox.
Obviously one of the big reasons that WCW went into the gutter.

I said Russo for the fact that he made himself champion (TWICE, if I remember correctly) and then made himself look like a big badass. At least McMahon won it whilst unconscious and then laid it down immediately.

Russo, Arquette, and Jarrett are the 3 bastards who killed WCW. WCW had the potential to make a comeback, but because of those 3 talentless fuckwads....
anyway.... FUCK OFF VinnieRu!

Nah the OnCenter is a small stadium so we don't get show to often...and the damn college won't let WWE do a show in the Dome

I went with Russo on this one. Even though many people didnt like the fact Arquette was champ and that it was done for a movie it seems to pass me by. I liked it when he was a champ because I actually thought it was funny WCW would stoop so low to promote a movie. But the funny outweights the horrible of Russo so Russo got my vote.

I'll have to go with JBL since I don't really consider Russo/Vinman/Arquette as real champions with actual title runs. The way JBL was just thrusted into the main event even when his last lost before his feud with Eddie was to Rikishi just sickens me.

why the hell is ronnie "hands of stone" garvin on that list. he was probably just as deserving as any other short term champion. anyways arquette is the obvious choice since he had absolutley nothing to do with wrestling before or after that angle whereas they other guys were at least involved with the sport. if i had to pick an actual wrestler though, probably nash.

Anyone who says anything other than Arquette is simply wrong.
And I honestly didn't mind McMahon winning the title. If I'm looking at a list of former world champions, I would be more offended by Arquette's name on there than one of the biggest names in the history of wrestling.

Arquette. Possibly Russo's crapest idea ever to give him the strap to promote a movie and quite frankly that movie sucked.

Jarrett is worse, atleast we know Triple H has talent and passion for the business..as much as i hate him, i can still say that, but i can't say the same for Jarrett...

Exactly what I was going to say...
VinnieMac I didn't mind... I dont remember the storyline, but it had SOMETHING to do with wrestling... Arquette's reign was a HORIBLE move by WCW... Most likely Turner's idea though to get publicity...

Worst Champ?
David Arquette hands down. Funny thing is in Flair's book he talked about how Arquette gave all the money he made to the families of Owen, Droz, Pillman, and others. Flair told him while he may not be a great champion, he conducted himself better than other guys with the title.

It wasn't Turner's idea. It was that clown Russo who wanted Arquette. He was the only one though. Even Arquette tried to convince Russo that it was a bad idea

You're getting WWE and World Champion confused, since Arquette was WCW World Champion.
That said... Arquette. Only cuz Bradshaw's WWE Champion.

Vinnie beat Trips for the title in a match where Shane was the special guest referee I believe. Think Stone Cold came down and put the unconcious Vince on him. The storyline actually worked for me at the time as it was just another way for face Vince to try and screw heel Trips.
I actually marked out big time when it happened.
Arquette by the way, I'm gonna give JBL a chance..........

I have the match on my PC, and I do remember when it happened, I marked out too... I just dont remember anything after it... I think the belt went vacant or something until the next PPV... Yeah Austin screwed Trips...

I vote Arquette. That was a huge kick in the balls for professional wrestling. Russo is a close second. I don't know why Slaughter, Sheik, anmd Yokozuna are on that list though.

I put people on there like Slaughter and Shieik because they were short-term champions I personally liked Nash as champ but he drew the lowest ratings in WWE as World Champion.

I kind of briefly enjoyed R2D2...I mean...R2R because I'm a huge wrestling fan, but other than that...it sucked.
Arquette because he sucks and hes not a wrestler and all those other reasons yall posted. And on the picture on the first page that the guy posted with him with the belt...he looks drunk.

He beat Booker T in a steel cage match in sept 00 in Nitro I believe with help with either Jarrett or Steiner. He gave the title to Jarrett the next week on Nitro then Jarrett lost the title that same night to Booker in that 49er match.
