Is there anyway that Nero can be set up so it will make the file size smaller when making a VCD?
I mean when it converts the file it will make it a lower resolution or something, so it'll fit on one disc.

VCD:
1 minutes of video = 10MB
i know when you burn a video cd with nero it goes according the time of the video so i dunno what you can do,, try overburning maybe?

yeah i don't think the size of the file matters as much as the legnth of time of the clip. you could maybe try cutting the video down a bit to make it fit like say the closing credits of a film or something.

Downgrade is all I'll say because IIRC Nero 6 doesn't like non-standard VCDs. All 5 will do is warn you and offer a re-encode
Use an encoding program such as TMPMPG and either change the bitrate or resolution. Just mess about with a short clip to see what your player can handle with a CDRW and when you get one you like it'll be fine. Personally, unless it's an action film/sequence, I usually downsample the audio and the resolution.
