I have four ideas what Raw can do for Summerslam.

1.Since this Monday we will see the Iron Man Match. They can do a Benoit/HHH Ladder match for the main event.

2.Give HHH the title back this Monday. Have a champion vs.champion match between HHH and Edge. Give Benoit to Orton or Flair.

3. Elimination Chamber:Edge vs.Benoit vs.Jericho vs.Orton vs.HHH vs.Batista. They did an Elimination CHamber match last year. Then they can have a Flair vs.Eugene match.

4.WarGames: Edge/Benoit/Jericho/Eugene vs.Evolution

All good ideas but unlikly.Rumor has it Benoit/HHH will not be the main event therefore i could see the elimanation chamber.

Edge in the main event?Fuck no that would suck.Keep him in an IC title match only.As for the other three ideas, yeah they sound good, number 4 should wait a while though till survivor series, that would be cool.

1. Elimination chamber

Benoit
HHH
Jericho
Batista
Edge
Orton

2. Eugene vs Ric Flair

3. Taker vs JBL WWE Title

4. Eddie vs Kurt Angle

5. Cena vs Booker

Those matches are my SS predictions

OWW changed their rumored card match but not 2 long ago it had on there HBK vs Kane and Foley vs Flair and The Rock vs Orton but it looks like they wont happen

As reported earlier, Chris Benoit will not wrestle Triple H at this year's Summerslam event. Instead, it will be Triple H vs. Eugene in one of the RAW main events on the show.

The second RAW main event will be Chris Benoit vs. Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Title. We are being told by reliable sources close to the situation that WWE is very interested in putting the title on Orton, and the plan right now is that Orton will indeed win the belt from Benoit at Summerslam.

WWE feels that this is the right time for Orton, and they will be putting a ton of pressure on him by having him defeat Benoit. There is a lot of feeling that this will do great things for Orton and the WWE, as The Rock was also in this sort of situation when he was given the belt, and he was able to grow into his role of being a larger than life superstar because of that opportunity.

If that's true, I can see it being alright as they could make HHH all jealous of Orton and they would feud.

It is way too soon to put the belt on Orton. He rules but this would be way too fast. If this is true I can see this leading to HHH turning on Orton to get the title.

If they were to do Wargames, it should be saved for SurvSer or one of the RAW PPVs in Oct, which will need something special to sell them.

What better than to have an interpromotional "War Games" match in October just before Raw v. Smackdown (or is it Smackdown v. Raw?) comes out on the PS2. I haven't heard anything about interpromotional war games matches on the game, though, so wargames might not be a possibility this year....perhaps an Elimination chamber or some other team battle.

Well they couldn't do interpromotional in October, because those PPVs are both RAW shows, but they could definately do it at Survivor Series

Smackdown v. Raw is slated for release on 11/15/04. If Survivor Series is anywhere near then (which I don't see why it wouldn't...) it'd still be the perfect time for some interpromotional matches.

Raw already has the seemingly excluisve Elimination Chamber (It was Bischoff's creation), so I'd say, if War Games were to go to a certin brand, it would be SmackDown!... But they could make it a yearly tradition and make it for SuvivorSeries Raw vs. SmackDown!...

Or they could just bring back the Suvivor Series matches and have maybe two of those for the Raw vs. SmackDown! things...

Didn't Linda McMahon say a few months ago that the only time where there would be interpromotional matchups would be at WrestleMania?

Yeah I think that has been the plan all along.

But the way I see it, RAW guys and SD guys already fight each other in the Rumble, so why not do it at SurvSer as well? The way you sell WM is with 3 or 4 matches that are RAW vs SD, but those are one on one, sort of like dream matches. SurvSer and Rumble can be used to set up those matches (ie maybe Cena eliminates Orton at SurvSer, then Orton gets revenge at the Rumble, so they fight at Mania). Plus, I just think the Wargames concept is too good not to use, and this RAW vs SD thing is the ideal way to use it.

So that way you still have something special for each PPV, well except for Summerslam, dont know. Maybe thats the only dual show with no interpromotional matches, but then that doesn't really seem all that special.

It would make sense to not have any interpromo matches for Summerslam. That would be the place that the tension starts between two guys as they cross paths backstage or something. Then at Survivor Series they may cross paths again as members of opposing teams. Royal Rumble is the first time they really get to go at each other, but it still doesn't get anything settled. Finally it all comes together in a singles match at WM. That would, however, create some VERY long feuds and I don't trust the WWE to do a good job of that.

that would be a great way to build up the Orton/Cena feud
