I saw this about a week ago. I was hoping for good timce due to the Broken Lizard Production label being on it, since Super Troopers was awesome. But I dunno, this was funny but just didn't have any steam. To make it a horror movie was dumb, I mean all the dudes in it together make a loveable/funnyassed cast so to kill them off is just depressing/stupid. And to make the dude who played Farva the main character is dumb, noone would take him seriously even if it is a comedy.

Overall somewhat humerous but very disappointing.

Never seen it, my input, pointless. Post count, raised by one.

...

I remember seeing the trailer for it, I thought it looked dumb. Sometimes I think you guys get too caught up in the director or certain actors. I mean, shit is shit.

However, refer to my opening comment..

Well I though it looked week, but I figured it's rare that you get to see Broken Lizard films so I'd take my chances.

It was hella wicked awesome. Brittany Daniel is hot, and Bill Paxton is THE MAN.

Just noticed, he was in more huge-budget films than anyone ever.

I mean, wow. Terminator, Predator 2, Titanic, Commando, Aliens, :wtf:

Also, he was in the video for "Fish Heads." :D

Brittany Daniel was hot and Bill Paxton was THE MAN.

Other than that, it was AWFUL. I have no clue how anyone over 10 likes this and Super Troopers. They both remind me of Scary Movie. So terribly unfunny but just trying a bunch of lame, gross-out humor to make up for it. Just unbelievably bad. There were HUGE parts is Club Dread where I KNEW there had to be a joke but I seriously COULDN'T figure out what it was.

I thought Super Troopers was great, but Club Dread was awful. It was too comical to be taken seriously as a horror movie, but not funny enough to be taken seriously as a horror spoof. It was a little bit of both but not enough of one or the other. I stopped watching after about an hour, it was just too bad to sit though.

Spoiler in black... Once they killed off Bill Paxton, it lost all hope of even a slightly entertaining end. Paxton was GREAT in it!
