Jim Ross To Play Hutt In Next Star Wars Movie?

A source inside the WWE has confirmed that former head of talent relations, Jim Ross, could be involved in the next Star Wars movie. The movie, the title of which was recently announced as 'Revenge of the Sith' (Scheduled for release, May 2005), is said to feature a scene of young Hutts, and George Lucas has personally picked Ross to play one of the parts, believing he has the perfect look.

Ross is said to be 'excited' by the potential movie role, as a chance to follow up on his previous exploits in 'Man on the Moon'. If Ross accepts the role, then this will be the first time that he has appeared in a movie as a character, rather than playing himself.

Ross would be unlikely to meet any of the cast, as filming has already been finished on the movie. The scene of young Hutts was decided on only recently, and with the limited time before the movie's theater release, it is expected to only be a small role for the WWE announcer.

This would put the WWE's foot firmly in the door of the movie industry, following the success of Hulk Hogan, The Rock, and Triple H among others.

If Ross decides to take the part, then expect to see Jonathan Coachman at the Raw announce table in his absence.

Just a note that KK reminded me of here: I rewatched Raw and during the ironman match King said the stupidest thing I've heard in a while. He said something along the lines of "He's got a blank stare and his eyes are closed." JR was stumbling over his words the entire match. Horrible commentating.
