Vince McMahon, Stephanine McMahon, & Triple H all met with Bruno Sammartino in Pittsburgh last week to discuss him coming to work for WWE 24/7. Samartino in the past has had a great deal of animosity towards Vince McMahon, but apparently the meeting went smooth and it’s possible he will be working with the project. (Credit: PWInsider)

So Sammartino will be getting the RKO in the future?

Ha! Yeah, probably. It's a tough call though. He might not be willing to help out in that way, but then again he might because of Randy Orton's father. We'll see.

I just get tired of old wrestlers holding on to their past for dear life...go sell cars or something. It's as much McMahon(WWE)/Bischoff(WCW)/Jarrett(TNA)'s fault for bringing them back...NO ONE CARES. Make an appearance, great. But don't expect people to cheer for them in the same way they did 20 years ago.

So because of the general public having a lack of respect for those who came before them, they're supposed to just forget everything that they have ever done?

That's the type of logic that has caused the past of wrestling (when it was actually respectable) to be even further forgotten about and disrespected...

Indeed, thats why i am glad that WWE had Fred Blassie on alot. There is a need to respect the past. We can take a look back and realize that without them, the guys today wouldn't be where they are.
