I think I am the only person who remembers....
.....Lance Storm once beat The Rock cleanly
.
....Ric Flair kicked out of the Peoples Elbow at the greatest stage of them all
.....Shawn Michaels could 'never wrestle again'

.....HHH using a bizarre set of clearly NOT brass, knuckles at Royal Rumble 1996 in a match against Duke Drose, then the replays zoomed in, revelling in the fact that the 'brass' knucks were so obviously fake.
.....Lex Lugers finishing move was a high arm because he had a steel plate in it.
....Jim Ross going insane when Lawler suggested the Raw Roulette could be JR in a bra and panties match. 'WELL YOU CAN KISS MY ASS KING!!'
....Jim Ross going insane when Flair tried to interfere in the Booker-HHH match at WMX9 'RIC FLAIR HAS NO BUSINESS THERE DAMN IT!'
....How Tazz Squeeled like a pre-pubescent boy when Lesnar did his first F5 in his match against Angle during Wrestlemania X9
....That Booker T received notes 2 weeks running, saying 'I know' and then 'I still know' just to be totally forgotten about and never mentioned again.
....Kane's Hulk Hogan impression.
....That Sid crapped himself, literally, in his Wrestlemania (maybe RR) match against The Undertaker.
....The World Stongest Poet, Mark Henry, reading a poem for Chyna, although the words escape me.
Anyone else have any they are dying to remember?

Yeah it was. WWE never had that rule.
I meant WWF. Around the Wrestlemania 14 time they kept on saying that if a wrestler was thrown over the top rope it would result in an immediate DQ. Over the top rope was only meant for the Royal Rumble. Then they changed. it....maybe I am the only one who remembers this.

They dropped the first name almost immediately, but I never forgot it, and the first thing I thought of when Paul Bearer started talking about Kane was "shit, did the wrong Undertaker win that match or what?"

I thought the idea was supposed to be that the scars had healed but Kane never accepted this. But WWE has never been known to convey such ideas in a succint manner.

Wait, he was scarred since he was a kid, and had a mask because he was scarred at the time he debuted... So it only took 6 years to heal them and they never healed before that? WWE must be giving Kane some strong shit :shifty:

Hey, if every woman who joins WWE suddenly has huge hooters, surely they can iron out a few scars, right?

Naw. They left it open for interpretation.
Mine being that it was a psychological issue, given that his face was so smooth.
Then again, you're right. People are dropped dozens of feet and survive...Automobile wrecks, explosions, savage beatings...You always heal by the nextPPV (or enough time to promote it, whicever is more suitable).
It sounds perfectly reasonable that he could have healed in all that time...If people can recover form life threatening injuries overnight.
