when there's four teams that are 4-12?
Giants
Chargers
Raiders
Arizona
is there a way they figure it out? do they do a lottery thing like the NBA?

Reading this response is generally a waste of time on your part. I honestly have no idea.

I would guess that it would have to do with strength of schedule

I am pretty sure they don't do a lottery because in the Vikings vs Cardinals game, they said that Arizona would have had the first pick had they lost the game. So I assume that they look at strength of schedule or something.

Yea they go by strength of schedule. Im sure ESPN wil be all over it by the time they figure it out. I hope the Giants don't get a top 3 though.

Is Manning gonna go number 1?
The Icon of Elisim
12-29-2003, 12:20 AM
San Diego has the number 1 pick I believe. It'll either be Manning or Roethlisberger since they'll probably go for a QB.
Supreme Olajuwon
12-29-2003, 01:08 AM
Roethlisberger probably wont go #1 because his one bad game this year was against a Big Ten team which might make scouts think he cant run with the big boys
Its basically the same thing as Palmer and Leftwich last year.

whoa what if Jerry Rice stays a Raider next year and the Raiders draft Fitzgerald
holy poop
DaveWadding
12-29-2003, 01:23 AM
I don't think the Raiders will take Eli..
they are bankling on Tuiasoipo (sp??) from what I understand.
The Miz
12-29-2003, 01:24 AM
they should go after manning and try and sign somebdosy like keyshawn. gannon really sucks.
if the chargers pick manning they should grab fitzgerald though (if he is declared eligible for the draft)
The Miz
12-29-2003, 01:25 AM
eh, tuiasaposo isn't that great. good guy to have come off the bench.
went to the best college though

Gannon is a f</>ucking dinosaur.

remember the name reggie williams. you guys probably don't know him because he plays for washington. he is a junior wide-out who declared for the draft. he seriously is the man.
The Outlaw
12-29-2003, 01:57 AM
Yeah, Reggie Williams is pretty sick.
I would say Eli goes first.

I really can't see San Diego taking Manning. They have Drew Brees and his contract. It wouldn't be a good idea to pay 2 #1 quarterbacks. I don't think Brees can be traded. I think the chargers will trade down and pick up a player to help there sorry D

It's interesting to see if SD takes Manning. I can see them trading down to help out their D. The Patriots have 2 1st rounders I think. If I was Oakland I'd do ANYTHING to get Eli. Although Big Ben isn't a bad guy either, Eli is a notch or 2 above.
There's a bunch of quality recievers too, Fitzgerald, Reggie & Roy Williams, Clayton,Woods...
