In breaking news, 1Wrestling reports that WWE released Ryan Sakoda earlier this week. It is expected that Sakoda, like most other releases, will be bound to a 90-day no-compete clause.

Sakoda had primarily been used in the team environment with Akio (Jimmy Yang).

Figures...

Fucking Hell.

Why can't they release someone useless for once. They only seem to release guys with TONS of potential, ala Kanyon and Sean O'Haire.

Who are Akio and Sakoda?

Are you serious?

Oh wait, you succubmed to Vince's big man fetish, didn't you? :p

They were some pretty talented guys on Smackdown, and they definitely should not have been released :nono:

:p Were they the guys that followed Tajiri around?

Sakoda sucked, good riddance.

Akio is the only talented one of the two and even he isn't THAT good.

Nope, they were there after Tajiri left. People were confused as to why Tajiri left to Raw since a Japanese stable of sorts would have been good, and Kenzo being able to join later on.

I wish they'd fire Kenzo Suzuki. He is terrible.

Yea, they should've released Kenzo. I never actually saw Sakoda wrestle, but it's always worth mentioning that Jimmy Yang is pretty awesome. :y:

Sakoda is decent in the ring. I'd have preferred the release of one Bobcore Holly, but time will tell. Anyway, at least Sakoda will be able to do something in 3 months or so.

WWE should have pushed someone like a Kaz Hyashi, or get Jushin Thunder Liger as he is a great performer and it seems that cole and Tazz have a lot of respect for him.

No Major Loss IMHO.

He wasnt the worse WWE had to other but far from the best.

I hope Jimmy Yang recieves a good Cruiserweight push.

At least it wasn't Jimmy Yang. If he'd been released, there'd be hell to pay.

Sakoda sucked... but he's still better than John Cena and Kenzo "POOP" Suzuki

Meh. I honestly can't say I was a big fan of Sakoda. The only real stand-out memory I have of Sakoda (besides all the times he and Akio ran interference for Tajiri) was seeing Kidman damn near break the guy's jaw with one of the sickest looking dropkicks I've ever seen.

As long as Akio's still around, I'm happy. Maybe he can wrestle more as a single now.

Akio rules all. Sakoda didn't do much so I am not too dissapointed

Only reason I ever even noticed Sakoda was because he as a strange resemblance to Judge Ito.
