The WWE possibly leaked the outcome of their upcoming match between Chris Benoit and Randy Orton at their Smackdown! House Show last night when they played a commercial for an upcoming event.

The commercial stated that Randy Orton would be participating in a Texas Death Match and implied that Orton would be defending his title. Other ad’s promoting house show’s have listed Chris Benoit as defending his Raw Title at upcoming shows, but that is the norm for the WWE not to give away any title changes. It still is heavily rumored that Randy Orton will walk out of SummerSlam as the champion and this

God I hope they don't give it to Orton, it's FAR to early for him to hold the World Title.

I think Randy is a good...olright a very good wrestler imo, but he just isn't ready for te WORLD TITLE...yet. I hope Benoit will retain...I pray Benoit will retain.

Maybe they are behind on current events and have forgotten that he lost the IC belt.

Well he's winning it eventually, whether its this month or next, he'll get it.

I still maintain that Survivor Series would be the perfect time for him to get the belt... not Summerslam.

Survivor Series would be an EXCELLENT place to do it...

...since they're really trying to make Orton the next "Rock", why not do it at the same stage at which The Rock won his first WWE title? Also, by that time, I believe Orton will finally have the fans behind him the way he should. Especially if say, HHH is the WWE title holder...

I have to disagree. I don't think I could sit through another of Vince's 'Let's Replay Montreal '97' angles (this is too good of an opportunity to pass up with Benoit using the Sharpshooter regurlarly)and we know he's due to 'delight' us with one any time soon now...

who said it had anything to do with a screwjob finish? By then, I think Orton could be a face...no need for that screwjobbing if that's the case. But now that you mentioned it, I can smell such a finish coming for Benoit....
