I think this is the game I am going to buy, but I can't find anywhere if it has "create a player" or "trades". I'm not sure if that is regular on all games but I like to mess around with stuff. Does anybody know?

I'll be able to tell you for definate in a couple of days, but 2k4 has so I'm almost sure it will do.

ESPN NFL > Madden

ESPN has both. I like ESPN a lot, but in my opinion

Madden > ESPN

Hopefully EA will use the better competition this year for a better Madden next year.

Anyone know if Sega stood by their word and released the sports games at $30 each this year? Hopefully, if they did, that will sway more people away from madden so they can make up their own minds too ;)

I picked up ESPN a few days ago.

My advice - just buy it. Don't ask questions, just go and buy. Trust me.

Yeah I just bought it For 20 bucks it is well worth it. It is better than madden in my opionion. When it comes down to a game that is very similliar in comparison for 20 bucks it doesnt get much batter than ESPN 2k5

Yup, when I saw it was only 20 I bought it immediately, thinking I was involved in some sort of great deal. The game is real good in my opinion though, the only thing is they don't have a lot of roster management outside of the franchise mode.

The game play is really good though, its really realistic, the only thing is that im not real used to the controls yet so sometimes routine passes can turn into real long runs. Overall I like the gameplay a lot better than Madden, EA sucks. I think these ESPN games are the best out there. I would recommend buying it.

Also, I am going to try and hook mine up to the web so if somebody wants to try playing me IM me on the name Cbasssssssssssss (13 s's)

Although I admit, the competition in NFL is very hot with ESPN and Madden, can anyone claim that NBA Live is anywhere near the greatness of the ESPN NBA games? I've always wondered if it was just me that hate the Live games or not....

With the NHL games... I dunno. I've been playing Hitz Pro one hell of a lot, I like NHL 204 but I never got on with the ESPN NHL games, dunno why really.

I think ESPN baseball is far any beyond the best baseball game out there, I'm not a huge fan of any basketball games though

Is ESPN Football 2k5 the newest version of NFL Fever? The gameplay in ESPN is pretty good, and Fever was always the best before it.

Nope. ESPN are versions of the Dreamcast sports games which were NBA/NFL 2k originally.

The Fever games are made by Microsoft

Aiight, I haven't heard of Fever coming out this year, is there a new one? I still would go with ESPN though, I love this game

No. Theres no XSN (NBA Inside Drive, NFL Fever etc.) this year. They're gonna work on the XBox 2 ones and put a lot of effort into them to beat ESPN/EA Sports on XBox apparantly.
