I do not see much difference in it from 04 except the bonus collectors edition stuff...kinda coool playin it in 16 bit

Some places release it Tuesday, some other days... Just depends on the store... Ive noticed alot that when a very popular game is coming out, they get it in for Thursday... But the official release for almost every game is Tuesday... Like most movies are released in theaters on Friday...

Anyway... I might be getting this... Last football game for PS2 I bought was NFL2k2... Last actual football game I bought was Madden 04 for GBA...

To be honest, although you don't notice much change every year, if you skip a year and then buy one, it definalty feels like a completly different game

And yeah, 2005 has a LOT of improvements over 2004. I mean the game looks really similar and all, but the defense has a lot of improvements. You can like totally change every player's defensive assignment after you choose your play. Like the "Playmaker" stuff in last year's game, they have that on defense now. That = hot.

You could set the corners to give a cushion or play tight, type thing, and stuff like that, but in 2005 you can set each individual player's assignment. Like you can set your linebackers to spread out to break up passes, then manually set your ROLB to play run defense or something. Or you can set a linebacker/safety to cover an individual player. Stuff like that, hot :rant:

yeah, its taking me a bit to get used to the new playmaker system for D. Definitely like player assingments tho. Playing as Giants, put my best cover guy on Moss and shut him down the entire game. Same on annoying draw plays that were getting the computer ridiculous yards. Assigned my MLB to the RB and he took him down every time. Haven't made much use of hitstick tho, since its kind of hard to hit while you're already sprinting and controlling your defensive player.

Yeah the hit stick was hard to get used to at first. Eever since Madden 64 I've had this horrible habit of pressing B [dive tackle] when I got near a player, so it's kind of hard to get used to using the C-stick to tackle. But since I'm such an NHL 2004 junkie it's not that difficult. Hit stick is fun :love:

yeah i do the same thing (diving tackle). Left over from tecmo super bowl maybe i guess? Sometimes it causes alot of fumbles and is handy. Mostly just makes me miss important tackles tho. I've gotten better recently @ using the sprint/shove button instead. Especially with Strahan.

Gained 4 overall points so far this year for Eli Manning in the season. That's one thing I like better this year. Development points for season games.

Bought madden yesturday and it is sweet.But when a player is disgruntled in franchise and says you an email saying he is disgruntled.It tells you to talk to the coach how do u do that?.Also can u fire a coach in midseason?
