This is how wrestling legends are treated.

Is he dead yet? He's only 51 and can wrestle better than you and probably can kick everybody ass on here.

You must spread some reputation around before giving it to Hulk Hogan again

He can wrestle better then me??? HAHAHAHA! I could run circles around him in the ring, even with my bad knee. He admits he isn't goodn in the ring, he is a gimmick and charismatic man who got pushed to the moon as the savior of America against the evil forign wrestlers. And as for kicking my ass...I am willing to bet I could take him in a shoot. I know he had a few shoot matches back in the day, but this isn't 1984, it's 2004...

And if he died tomorrow I am sure everyone on this board would cry and say he was their childhood hero, but the fact is, he is stale, boring, and annoying to read about and if we want to make jokes about his mortality then that is our right damn it.

ok the one, I respect your shit usually, but shut the fuck up, you won't ever hold a bootlace to Hulk Hogan. You might wrestle bettter, look better, and have a better looking mullet, but the fact is... It's Hulk Hogan, probably the reason most of us are typing here right now, he is the man.
He's no Bret Hart in the ring, but he never needed to be. If I could get away with doing legdrops and clapping my hands and putting a hand to my hear for 30 odd years to earn what he has, I'd do it.

Happy Birthday Terry, you're one of the reasons wrestling is what it is today. And if anyone says "with your gimmick etc anyone could of done what you did" they are all shit, noone could of pulled it off but him.

Did I take anything away from his legacy? No. I state that he isn't a better wrestler then me. I stated I thought I could beat him in a shoot fight. I never claimed that anyone could do what he did. I say that he admits (and he has) that he isn't a good wrestler...but Hulk Hogan wasn't about wrestling, he was about bringing a new era of professional wrestling. I even stated that we all secertly thank him for his contributions and said we would all cry...as to not holding a bootlace to Hogan...possibly (actually probably)...but then again I never claimed to be bigger or have done more for wrestling then him...so now it is your turn to shut the fu</>ck up.

You couldn't beat him in a shoot fight.

His size would certainly pose problems, but you have to remember Hulk Hogan was NEVER trained in actual fighting, other then a handful of high school rumbles I guess...From the day I was born I basically have been wrestling. My dad (former NCAA Champion, 2 time All-American) trained me (yes trained, we had mats in the basement) until I was 5 years old, the youngest possible age before you can join a child's league...I wrestled basically my entire life, I am not just some kid who jumped on getting trained Pro, I can actually wrestle, not to mention I hold a Black Belt in Sun Do Sul, Kuk Sul Won, and American Karate...I have beaten people bigger then 275 lbs before...and I am sure I could beat a 275 lbs 51 year old man...but hey maybe that's just me stroking my ego.

Wrestling is more than mat expertise. It's working the crowd. Hogan has more charisma in his fucking toe than 30 of you put together.

You could never match up to him. Ever. EVER.

The only reason Hogan gets a reaction is because the announcers and other wrestlers hype him way above his level. ;)

Actually he was trained by some japanese wrestler, i forget his name but his first time in the ring with him he broke hogans ankle or leg. I'll have to look at that dvd sometime.

I love Hogan as much as I hate him.
He can't wrestle for shit, but he can get an awesome reaction.
It may be a day late, but Happy B-Day Hogan (like he really spends time on tpww.net)

And I'm NOT watching that show, unless they talk about Brooke's life as a topless dancer.
