The band Coheed and Cambria is based off of a Sci-Fi Novel that the lead singer, Claudio, has been writing for years. The band name, lyrics, cd covers and titles, all of it has to do with this novel. So far the novel is still in works, and any part of it can be changed at any time. The only information we have on it is a few facts that Claudio has given us on it. The rest are interpretations by fans of Coheed and Cambria.
The novel is broken down into four parts, which will be released as five discs. It will be 5 discs because the last disc will have 2 volumes to it. They are:
1. The Bag Online Adventures of Coheed and Cambra
2. The Second Stage Turbine Blade
3. In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3
4. Good Apollo I'll Be Burning Star: 4 - The One Into Madness (Volume 1)
5. Good Apollo I'll Be Burning Star: 4 - Title Unkown (Volume 2)
Coheed and Cambria are a married couple with four children, Claudio, Maria, Josephine, and Matthew. This story takes place a long time in the past, references to New Mexico and New Jersey are allusions to places, not direct references. The dragonfly plants the serum into Coheed, which activates the Monstar. He's tricked into going to some planet to see Cambria, but when he lays eyes on her, the serum within him is activated, which turns him evil. Events lead up to an intergalactic war in which the Keywork begins to fall apart, and as Earth breaks away, the Monstar in Coheed's heart gives him the power to save or destroy the universe, however, the Monstar is evil. The Keywork is a group of seventy-eight planetary systems shaped as a triangle with seven circles. These circles represent oracles, the Stars of Sirius, referred to as Powerstar Transformers. The triangle forms the beam that holds all seventy-eight planets in line. Coheed and Cambria are forced to kill their children, but they all end up dead, who killed them still remains in question, except for Claudio because he is in hiding. By the end of the Second Stage Turbine Blade, all are dead, except for Claudio. During In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3, earth and it's solar system are broken free from the keywork and lost in the dust cloud resulting from the break, this activating the Monstar and turning Coheed evil. The Prises, celestial beings that oversee the keywork, then instruct Ambellina, one of the many fairy-like creatures, to become human and watch over Claudio. Towards the end of SSTB, a character falls asleep and a dream sequence begins in IKSSE3. The telephone, the ships, "Hello Apollo, where should I begin?", is all dreamed reality, so summed up, the dream is real. The Camper Velourium is a ship owned and piloted by Al who happens to be a racist-psychopath on which the trilogy of songs are based on. He plays animportant role in this story and become a big help to the main characters.

Nice to know someone is keeping the tradition of combining stupid concepts and music alive...
Rick Wakeman would be proud. Well, maybe not...

The fact that this is the genre they are constantly put into?
I even got yelled at by no fewer than two people on MSN for hating "emogrrrrls," because I "can't like C&C and hate emo."

Yeah, In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 is far from wusscore.

Unrelated, well, kind of, but holy crap, Where You Want To Be is number 3 on the Billboard charts.
I'm not surprised, the radio stations around here have been playing it like mad.

I'm not too much into Coheed mainly because of the blokes, err, bird's voice.

Hate Death Cab. Very bland, vanilla, boring stuff.
Glass Jaw, I'm 50-50 on. Some of their stuff I've heard, I like, others just make me shake my head. Dunno. Have to listen to some more I guess.

Glass Jaw, I'm 50-50 on. Some of their stuff I've heard, I like, others just make me shake my head. Dunno. Have to listen to some more I guess. The first album is more hardcore, and the second album tends to lean more towards emo. I mean, the second album is still pretty hard (and I like it just as much as the first, probably more), but a lot of hardcore Glassjaw fans got turned off by their second album for being too "radio friendly" which I don't really see, but whatever.

I'm slowly starting to like Worship and Tribute just as much as Everything You Wanted to Know About Silence... Completely different type of album IMO. Just as heavy, in other ways.
Less anger, I think.

I really could have used another Glassjaw album. Head Automatica is pretty cool but they don't come close to touching Glassjaw.

Glassjaw will have another album out by 2006 or 2007 I think.

Nope, Daryl's been stating while doing press for Head Automatica that it'll be back to Glassjaw once he's done touring, and that the other guys have been busy writing...

I saw Head Automatica before the album was even close to being finished - on this past Halloween to be exact. They weren't even announced or anything. It was just supposed to be Dan the Automator, and Daryl came out of the crowd along with the other guy (dude from the Movielife, right?) and they jammed for like a half hour, at least.
Half the time, Daryl kept on making out with some random chick in the crowd.

Yeah, I heard they just get on stage and party, while wearing suits. I was supposed to see them twice this summer but both times things got fucked up.
