Im just wondering what everyone thinks of this feud.Do you believe that Flair made valid points in his book or was he threatened about Hart possibly being considered the best ever

The Bottom one.

Hart is definitely the better wrestler. That doesn't mean that he left a better legacy though. But since your options were in regards to wrestling, then definitely Hart.

I don't completly agree with the second one because I don't feel Flair is overated but Hart is the better wrestler. Two massive egos as well.

Flair is super overrated, I can't remember a good flair match and I have be watching him for 14 years. Bret is the man and was my fav wrestler as a kid.

Did Bret Hart ever have a good match with Lex Luger? Flair did. I still voted opition 3 huge egos by both

2 huge ego's colliding here. I personally enjoy Flair's stuff much more than Hart's stuff, but that's just my taste. They're both great wrestlers and performers, but their heads are the size of watermelons when it comes to their ego.

Hart is the better wrestler. Always will be.

Flair isn't overrated. He was definitely one of the best entertainers he could be.

They both have some validity.

Flair's lose some potency because they're inundated in cheap shots. I'll err to Bret's side here.

LOL, so because Hart couldn't have a good match with a piece of crap after putting on so many awesome matches with just about everyone else, that makes him a worse wrestler? :wtf:

Actually Bret did have some great encounters with Luger. We're not talking about a good match in the sense of Bret / Owen - but a good match in the sense of what wrestling really is, entertainment. The match may not have been a technical masterpiece, but it doesn't have to be to be good.

Also, I don't think Bret has a huge ego - or at least not one that is anywhere close to Flair's. Bret gives credit to many guys that he doesn't have to, and is open to other people besides himself / his friends. Flair only likes himself & whatever cronies he can find to kiss his ass.

I voted Flair. Was never too much into Bret and Flairs promos put all to shame.

I went with Bret...though I don't think Flair is really over rated. Hart is my favourite wrestler though Flair comes in a close second.

Voted Flair. I didn't care for the whole thing after Flair's or Hart's name in the choices, but I've always been entertained by Flair, whereas Hart just bores me.

Hart put on better matches in terms of wrestling quality, but Flair was the best entertainer wrestling has ever had, and his wrestling was decent as well.

Although currently Bret wouldn't stand a chance in the ring.

Hart was the better wrestler.
Flair was the better entertainer.
Hart was the better human being.

How the hell does any sane person justify what Flair says about Hart in his book? Flair as a person is dirt.

Dammit :foc: as much as I hate to admitt it wrestling is entertainment. For me though, I want to watch a match that makes me not even think about changing the channel. Many of Hart's matches, not just with Luger, made me want to change the channel.

What made Ric Flair great was he could have a classic match with any peice of crap. Bret Hart was not a bad wrestle. He just did not have the talent to make others look better than they were.

What? Bret is well known for making shit wrestlers have their best matches. He carried guys like diesel and taker and other lesser talents to some pretty damn good matches.
Also Bret in the ring was a solid storyteller, much better then flair, thus meaning his matches usually ended up more entertaining. Only thing flair did that you think would be entertaining is flip floppoing around selling exageratedly and everything else.
Bret made others look good through realism, Flair needed to exagerate to do this.

Bret is the man. You can like flair better but you gotta get the facts down right.

I haven't read the book. What did Flair say?

He brought up owen's death and how bret handled it. He critisized a man for how he dealt with his bro's death. What business does that have with him, and why is it necessary to write it in his book?
There is no reason for that.

I voted Flair. Was never too much into Bret and Flairs promos put all to shame.

LOL I can name 10 guys at the top of my head who can cut better promos than Flair...

let's see Rock, Hogan, Austin, Savage, Jericho, Angle, Foley, Vince, Heyman, Bischoff

Anyways Bret ownz Ric in every single way. Bret is and will always be 10 X the draw that Flair will ever be

You lost all credibilty at "ownz"

Anyway, Flair is a shell of his former self and lost his mind. Bret is just being defensive.

Tell me something, how would you react if someone said you treated your brother's death as a publicity stunt?

Publicity stunt may not be the words I was looking for, but I think most of you will get the point I'm trying to make.
