So I won a contest to see Summer Slam...

... at my not so local Famous Players movie theatre. I was at work when I heard the 9th caller gets to see Summer Slam live... then they played a Undertaker voice clip.

So, I was bored... called and somehow won. Haha. Though, I thought it was a ticket to the actual live event :foc: but I'll get to see the PPV at the theatre... I've never done that before. I haven't seen a WWE PPV live while it was happening since RVD V. Hardy match at Invasion.


It actually sounds like a great card... better than Wrestle Mania XX in my opinion.

I go to famous players all the time for PPV's, and the reactions are generally pretty good. There is probably 1/4 internet fans whenever I go, and the rest are younger kids with some old people.

Same. I saw WM 2000 at Silver City (basically Famous Players on steroids) in the West Edmonton Mall. It was good times. Huge pop in the movie theatre when Benoit pinned Angle.

I hear ya. There's a Buffalo Wild Wings almost right across the street from where I live, but they don't show the ppv yet, since it is also a new store. But I'm in a little WWE group and we usually go to Hooters to watch the ppv, which I will be doing again this Sunday.
