From the TPWW newsboard:
According to an article found in Minnesota's Star Tribune newspaper over the weekend about the Minnesota Vikings training camp, Lesnar apparently refused to sign a Brock poster, which a fan approached him with. Lesnar explained that he will no longer sign wrestling merchandise.
"That was a part of my life, and I just don't sign that stuff anymore," Lesnar said. "Just in case I never go back. They'd have that and they'd just sell it on eBay."

With the way the majority of fans treated him at Wrestlemania, I don't think he owes them anything.
Kane Knight
08-14-2004, 09:40 PM
Why wpould he "owe them" otherwise?
Besides, the majority of wrestling fans were not at Wrestlemania.
Wouldn't it be interesting if football fans started chanting "You sold out!" at him?
Fans: You sold out!
Brock Lesner: SHUT THE FUCK UP! THAT PART OF MY LIFE IS OVER!!!!!

I'd pay to see that. It's about the only way I'd pay to watch Lesnar.

<font color=cyan>Okay, I could understand if Andrew Martin went to the NBA and wouldn't sign a Test poster, or if Paul Wight decided to do children's television and wouldn't sign a Big Show action figure, but the person that went to Brock was a fan of Brock, and was comming to him as a fan of Brock. Thus, Brock Lesnars gets and F minus minus in my book.

You mean Big Show's real name isn't Big Show?
His name is The Giant, named after his father, Andre the Giant. Everybody fucking knows that.

You mean to tell me that Big Show and The Giant are the same person! I thought the Giant was Big Show's older hippy brother.

<font color=cyan>He's The Giant Baba's half brother. They tried "The Baba Boyz" in All Japan but it didn't get that much heat, then they were pushed like hell, and then depushed almost as fast.

I kinda agree with that. If he wants wrestling out of his life on principle, then he's got to refuse the autograph on principle. Though Brock'd probably wave the principle to bang some broad, but that's cuz he's my type of guy ;)

If his justification includes "they'll sell it on E-Bay," I'm having trouble seeing it.
People will sell Lesnar football gear on E-Bay too, first chance they get. There are some legitimate Lesnar fans left, too, even though a lot of peopkle claim he "sold out."

Well when you're out trying to do your job in front of 20,000+ supposed fans, and all they can do is bitch and whine because you're doing something you want to do, I suppose it would be kind of difficult to shake off that "wrestling fans are ungrateful bastards" mindset. 'Twould be nice to see a bunch of retards at a Vikings game try to start a "You sold out!" chant, immediately before he gets a sack or something. Would be funny to shut them up.

Not signing a piece of wrestling merchandise is just childish. Someone took the time to go and see brock lesnar and as him for is autograph and he just says no that part of my life is over. I believe that it is thanks to wrestling that he got an opertunity to play football, lets face it a fit guy he may be but he hasn't played football at any level since high school. If he had have been an unknown with his lack of fottball experience he probably wouldn't have had a chance of being signed by anyone.

I don't blame him for not wanting to sign wrestling stuff anymore at all, I probably would do the same thing in his situation.
As for the fans being dicks to him at Wrestlemania, I don't really see it that way. While I do respect him for doing what he wants to do, and hold no grudge against him for leaving the WWE, you have to remember that the WWE is entertainment, and least from my prospective, everything that happens in it is all in good fun. It's pretty common practice for fans to boo a wrestler when he's quitting the company. I was there when it happened, and to me, the chanting (which I took part in) was just the fans having a good time. Brock's a big boy, and was getting paid plenty of money to hear fans who knew the product was fake booing him during his performance.

The only "power" rep has on these boards is the power the idiot getting it gives it. You seem to put more stock into it than I do.
But whatever floats your boat, chief. Piss and moan about your rep.

I love these little feuds KK gets in. Quick1, I'm not sure if you're a returning troll or not, but here's a little play I like to call "Kane Knight v. the troll" to help you along with understanding why you look like such an idiot right now. It's set in a fairytale setting, so bear with me.
:Open curtain with Kane Knight dressed in armor riding his trusty steed to stage left:
KK: Ah, what a wonderful day. Thy sun is shining, the air is cleanith, and the WWE is free of most of its worst wrestlers in Brock Lesner, Bill Goldberg, and Scott Steiner. Now if only Vince McMahon would releasith all of his good wrestlers from their contracts and shootith himself in the head.....
:KK looks hopefully up at the sky hoping the blue fairy would come down to grant his wish. Nobody comes, though:
KK: Oh well, I guess I can't have all of mine wishes.
:Suddenly a large, monsterous troll jumps from behind a rock.:
Troll: RAARGH! IU R N mi wOODZ! UR GHEY!!!11!

KK: Foul creature, your breath smells of rotting flesh. Thou shouldst see the dentist in a nearby village.

KK: I'm afraid you're mistaken, miserable troll, for I am off to see the fair maiden in yon castle, wherest we shalt do it and then download some independant wrestling that far excedes the quality of the programming made available from the WWE.
Troll: HAHAHA I MAID Yuu MAD!!!1! UR Mad CUZ I SED UR GHEY!@!
KK: No, troll, you are again mistakenith. I was never mad. You seem to want to anger me, though. Perhapsith this is because you have emotional problems with your adolescence.
:nearby squirrels laugh at the follish troll:
Troll: AARGH! U ROOIN mi REPYOOTASHUN!!!11! ITZ CUZ UR GHEY CUM OUTTA DACLOZET YU HOMO
:KK rolls his eyes and continues on his way to yon castle to shaggith the fair maiden:

He is a prick for not signing the god damn poster...I don't care whgat stage of life your in, if someone thinks highly enough of you to ask for an autograph just fucking sign it...oh and wrestler's signatures on ebay go for about $5 so I don't think the fan wanted to sell it.

On the one hand I can see how he might be sensative to criticism about the legitimacy of his talent simply because he was once a pro-wrestler.
On the other hand I think he is a asshat for not signing the poster and a complete tool for making the eBay comment.

Well, anyone who goes from the WWE is going to be treated as a novelty, or flavor of the week deal.
Lesnar's got that against him (and a lack of training, but we won't go there).
On the other hand, pretending it didn't happen won't stop the naysayers. It'll just piss off the fans who might actually have supported you.
I still wish him the best, ironically enough, even though he's evidently a dick. I'd rather see him give it his all in football (win or lose) than see him mope around the WWE if that's not where he wants to be.
I just wish some of the less talented people who've lost their passion for wrestling would get the F out.
