PC Boot Problem

My PC won't boot when I have the speaker wire plugged in.

It makes a longer beep, but stays on doing absolutely nothing.

If I turn the PC off, and unplug the wire, it works alright, however it's annoying plugging it in when the PC's loaded, and having to unplug it afterwards too.

Have you recently changed something? Either software or hardware.

I'd honestly check for a BIOS upgrade or sound card drivers, by the sound of it

No nothing.
I installed a game, but it's been installed before and it was fine then.

I've had the motherboard about a year now I'd say, and it's only started doing this recently, and it was only yesterday I realised what was causing it.
