Does anybody remember the old MSP videos that lead to them debuting in the WWF? The ones where they would build up how tough "Shane O'Mac" was and all of that....

There was a guy talking "in the shadows" in one of the videos, and when they displayed his name it was Willie Green. I was wondering if anyone had any idea who it was that portrayed Willie Green there, and if anyone knows who was supposed to play the character (I'm assuming that that is why they did it that way - they might not have had the guy they wanted to play the role, so they used a figure in the shadows, allowing it to be anyone when they debuted).

Also [the reason this isn't in Q&A] - who was everyone's favorite member of The MSP (I know everyone secretly has one)??? :shifty:

Yeah that was a good match. Also remember the times that the Posse always tried to get the Hardcore title from Crash nearly everywhere.

Actually, the High Society was Rodney Finisher which was the Buff Blockbuster, there tag team move was called the Stock Exchange...

Of course, I do remember Gas and Rodney trying a Double Team High Society, but never connected

I remember when the Posse beat up X-pac outside and Rodney bum rushed him into the steel garage door. Then they took of with Shane in the convertible. That was great.

You know what I absolutely love about the Posse? Any time they get brought up, everybody always starts talking about their finishers, which is based off a single match they had on Smackdown against Kaientai, where they did all their "finishers", and then lost anyway.

But people all these years later remember that throwaway match and the moves. And in Rodney's one chance to "hit his finisher", didn't he almost fuck it up and land on his head I seem to remember?

To tie two threads on this forum together, I know that the "Willie Green" mystery is actually a source of humour that Smackdown head writer Ryan Ward refers to a lot.

What does Ward say?

He's just had a humorous thing about Willie Green and his identity that bordered on obsession, quoting him word for word from that video.

"Shane comes in, Boom, hits this one guy! Boom, hits this other guy. Beat up ten guys!"

Pete Gas (or rodney) took a mean chair shot from Bradshaw around when they first debuted. Want to search for the vid but I am at work :/

I would be totally down for Dolph (w/ The Spirit Squad) vs. Shane (w/ The Posse).

More likely is that Willie Green makes his debut in the Royal Rumble, wins it, then Shane beats AJ for the WWE Title. Shane vs. Willie for the belt in Orlando, babay.
