Yeah, I'm not signing up for it.. No point in downloading such a huge file when it's only good for 7 days. I'd have to majorly clear space off my comp. If I got into regular beta, I'd do it in a heartbeat, but not just for this.

Who cares if it's for 7 days? The whole point of it is to get a lot of people to test the server, this isn't just to play the game and get a jump on the game. If it helps make the game better when it comes out and I get a chance to play it, who really cares.

The thing is, they're planning on loading it down to the point of where a computer like mine wouldn't even be able to function.

I would do this if I had space on my computer, but I'm not going to -clear space- on it, and delete stuff just for a 7 day test.
If I could do it for a long-term beta, then yes, I would do it.

You have to have a Gamespy account to take part. That's fine, I have one from before when I used to play Rogue Spear on there. The funny thing is though, you have to be a "subscribed" user to GUARANTEE a spot. i.e. You have to PAY to be part of the beta :lol:



I signed up, don't know if I'll get in through. Guess I just gotta wait.

I had my basic account when I was downloading Battlefield Vietnam maps and I got in. Gave me a confirmation right after and sent me to the download.
