If Jesse Ventura runs for President in 2008, are you going to vote for him? Do you think he'd be good?

I'd definitely vote for Jesse.
I am against Jesse on a few topics, but I heavily back him with others. He's one of the few "politicians" who actually speak their mind, and when he has something to say, he makes sure it's heard - no matter if you like it or not.
He's also very logical, and unlike the current 'President', he thinks for others first, and them himself second. I think he'd definitely do a hell of a job as President (just as he did as Mayor and Governor in Minnesota) and I'd very proudly vote for him.

<font color=cyan>If he was running in 2004, well, we can't do any worse without bringing Hitler back from the dead.
On a side note, I highly dislike Bush.
Anywho, in all honesty, yes. This country needs a change. I'm sick of cookie cutter politicians.... as long as the whoremedia doesn't flash around pics of him in his wrestling attire with the feather boa...

I think it'd be even better if they did focus on him being a former wrestler. It's a rather great story in itself - a former Navy SEAL, actor and pro-wrestler manages to become a Mayor and then a Governor, and do a fine job with the positions that he's held.
It shows that he's capable of many things, and can handle all of the jobs - and also that he does have a fun side - he's not cardboard. But yes - I definitely agree with your post, and I know what you mean, because the media will try to push nothing but the fact that he was a wrestler, as if that disqualifies him from running.

He'll never win without being either a Democrat or a Republican. Simple as that.

I can see it now........Ventura's giving the State of the Union and all of a sudden, one of his attendants hits him with a steel chair. The two would brawl all over the building, and the TV announcers would go berserk.
Oh yeah, and JR would be his official spokesman. :y:

Jesse for Prez.
Arnold for Vice Prez.
Biggest, baddest leaders this country's ever seen, ya'll.
He won't run and if he does, he won't win.

Would I vote for him...depends. Who is he running against. Plus to be fair to the man I don't know much about his political views, so for me it would be hard to say, though (and this is an assumtion I know) I doubt many of our views co-inside.
Not like it matters...he never will run, and if he does, he will lose.
(on a side note, did you know there are offically 163 people running for president this year...granted only 2 of those people will get any votes, but still)

Did you know there are over 500 political parties, including Knights (can't think of the second word) which is the party of the KKK

He's not stupid, he would never run for Prez, at leats not as an Independent. Americans are so split on Reps and Dems that any 3rd party candidtae has no chance. Its like trying to fight the Souveneir Industry, you just cant their too powerful.

Yeah, it sucks, too.
Monarchy, you're forced into one leader.
American democracy, you're forced into one of two leaders.
Go figure.

You guys are all idiots. I am from Minnesota and
1. He won't run
2. He wouldn't win if he did
3. He did a horseshit job in Minnesota
I was one of the people who was a fan of him, his moderate stance and non-traditional image, but the fact of the matter is that he didn't do any good for the state, he wasn't going to be reelected which is why he didn't run. You have to have an IQ of 10 to actually be discussing this.
