I believe that many people do not like the title contenders on SmackDown, so now, in this magical poll of joy, you can help shape SmackDown… and by that I mean vote for who you’d like to see pushed to the main event and talk about it even though it seems that the WWE does not listen to the fans as much as they used to.
Now for fairness sake, men and women can run for the title.
Why should your wrestler be pushed? How would you push your wrestler? Who would turn?

John Bradshaw Layfield

i would push RVD or John Cena, both can attract customers and it's pretty obvious that at wrestlemania it will be cena vs orton, so why not push RVD, hell they pushed bradshaw

Rob Van Dam, Eddie Guerrero, and Kurt Angle should get back on the main event scene soon.
Also, I think Cena might be ready to start the move back to the main event scene, i'm not really decided about this though since he'sa been doing wonders for the U.S. Title.

I say it's time RVD was moved up to the main event scene. And I mean really moved up, not "I'm there for one month, then I'm jobbing on Heat". It's been 3 years now, give him the fucking title.
I think Cena should be used as upper mid card and then be made champion after about 18 months, the way Jericho kinda was in 2001 before finally becoming Champ.

To contradict what I've said to myself before, I think they CAN push John Cena. What they need is someone who will be around for a while yet. For example, I wasnt a fan of Randy Orton becoming champ at first, but now I see that they need someone who will be around for ages.
John Cena has shitloads of charisma to create an error of his own. He has the wrestling (by wrestling, I mean sportingly entertaining) ability to boot. So why not?
RVD should get the belt and go into a feud with Kurt

Everybody knows what am going to say ROB-VAN-DAM. Come on he sould have got the title ages ago. I'm mad he never had the ECW title.

They should push Cena to challenge Bradshaw. Have him win the WWE Title. Meanwhile Orton is still the World Champ. Then come Wrestlemania 21, we can have Orton vs Cena. They're rushing the storylines anyways (Triple H vs Orton was supposed to be saved for Mania but it's at Unforgiven now), so why not cash in on a Orton/Cena match?
It doesn't have to be neccessarily title vs title, since you can have Cena screw over Orton costing him the World Title at Royal Rumble. Then at No Way Out, have Orton cost Cena the WWE Title.
But I'd rather see a champion vs champion main event at Wrestlemania 21. And have the two titles united again.
If I was the booker, here's how it would go:
No Mercy - Taker defeats JBL for the title
SurvSer - Angle defeats Taker for the title
Royal Rumble - Angle retains against Eddie or RVD; meanwhile Cena wins the rumble
Wrestlemania - Cena defeats Angle for the title

Booker T should get the belt before anyone else. At least six months later, RVD should beat him for the title. That fued should last at least one year.

I think the people who should win the title go in this order.
1. Undertaker
2. Kurt
3. RVD
and number 4
Cena
RVD, Booker T, Charlie Haas, Mark Jendrak and John CenaRemove Jindrak and add Angle and Big Show (don't let Show win though)

I think it could work something like this:
No Mercy: John Bradshaw Layfield vs. Kurt Angle vs. Eddie Guerrero
Winner: JBL via pinfall. He'd pin Angle after a Frog Splash.
Survivor Series: John Bradshaw Layfield vs. The Big Show
Winner: The Big Show via pinfall.
Armageddon: The Big Show vs. Kurt Angle
Winner: The Big Show via pinfall.
Royal Rumble: The Big Show vs. John Cena
Winner: John Cena via pinfall.
No Way Out: John Cena vs. The Big Show vs. John Bradshaw Layfield
Winner: John Cena via pinfall. He'd pin The Big Show after an F-U.
WrestleMania 21: John Cena vs. Randy Orton (World Heavyweight Champion)
Winner: John Cena via pinfall.
or
WrestleMania 21: John Cena vs. Kurt Angle
Winner: John Cena via pinfall.

I just don't want to see Booker T with teh WWE title.
As legendary as Taker is he doesn't ened the WWE title anymore. He can be in the picture but doesn't need to win it.
Angle on the other hand could win it sometime down the road. LIke after WrestleMania 21. He doesn't need to win it before then just cause.
RVD on the other hand has been stuck in the same place for years. When it looked like they were about to elevate him and the fans were behind him they dropped him down. The fans still remained behind him. That should say somethin. Put the belt on the guy that the fans continue to stay behind even if you job him week after week.
JBL- lose the belt. Leave my TV.
Cena: Maybe. I men at a time he was lookin like champion material. Then he became U.S. champ. Made the belt look good until that black dude won it. Well as of right now Cena doesn't look like WWE champ material havin to feud with Booker T. Give Cena a high profile feud like they did for Orton and then Cena could once again be elevated to the throne of glory.
Eddie: Well all I'm sayin about Eddie is that his promos have been lackin as of late but other than that he can be champ again.
Forget Big Show.

Dude you cant forget Show he was in the best form I have seen him in (except for a short time in WCW) just before he went on the shelf.
When he is motivated and ready to go he is impressive to watch. Also I imagine with this time off he may have lost a little weight. The return of the show could be good to watch and if he is in good shape I would not mind a title reign one bit.
And as for Booker T most people know my thoughts on him he can still go in ring, sure hes not up to the standard he was but hes certainly no slouch. If they gave Booker the Bookend back as a finisher or let him use the Harlem Hangover he could be a real title threat and he has the charisma to pull it off.
But sadly I think the U.S. title will be his swansong title reign.
Its a real shame and a real waste of proven mainevent talent.

Raw:
* Kane (I think he deserves that belt right now more than anyone on both rosters)
* Chris jericho
* Christian (Eventually)
* Benoit (Again)

Yeah, I like the Cena over Angle scenario for Mania. Of course it looks like they have other plans, but I think Cena is the only sensible choice for champ.
