Can someone fill me in on what the beef with Luda and TI is? After listening to Stomp there has to be some major problem. Also seeing as they removed TI's verse from the release of Young Bucks CD.
Any help would be appreciated
I dunno but Stomp is a great song.

The beef is that their record companies told them to start acting like they disliked each other so they could increase album sales.

I think this one is a little more than that(though I think that is the case with most battles) due to TI being removed from the Young Buck CD

TI was probably chillin' in the club and stepped on Luda's gators.

They are both pussies. Therefore, this is bullshit and they are probably hanging out in Ludacris' mansion right now.

Ludacris wins.
Luda is posing as a southern rapper when he really is from chicago. He just rode the southern rap trend.
Well even if he aint from the dirty south he still reps them well.

:wtf: Ludacris is from Atlanta. Yes, usually beef is organized between music companies but this is legit. The cause is T.I. is running around calling himself the king of the south, thus being one of the reasons he has beef with Ludacris aswell as Lil Flip.

it seems dumb that anyone would get upset about being king of the south when Outkast are clearly the best thing to come from down south in a long time

Yeh, but lets say you've been doing your thing representing your area for years realeasing multiple platinum cds and all the sudden this new comer comes and starts claiming he's better than everybody out there. Personally, I can see why Luda is upset.
Also, I agree with you about Outkast 100%, although I'm a much bigger fan of Big Boi than Andre.

I've never heard of TI.
Although I think Luda is great, his skit about white people doing his songs always cracks me up.

I think it's ridiculous that he claims to be king....Luda's kind of a bitch though

Thanx...I knew that was the problem with TI and Lil Flip and kinda thought it could be the same with Luda

I will agree with FF... TI is crap... then again most of the rappers out there now are crap also.

The fact that TI even said that while Antwan Patton, Benjamin Andre, or Chris Bridges are still living is pretty stupid in and of itself.

I wouldn't go as far as these other guys to say T.I. is crap though, T.I. is a decent rapper but then again theirs no comparison between him and the aforemention named artists.

not to mention Scarface, UGK, Three 6 Mafia, Cee Lo, Pastor Troy, or any other respectable rapper from the south

I think that primarily basing your campaign as a musician on promoting the location you came from is a crock of shit. And then to be adverse toward a fellow musician solely because of his egotisical claims of lyrical dominance is unprofessional and incredibly ignorant. Do rap a favor and stop lowering its place in music with superfluous horseshit and focus on providing talented and enjoyable material. Respectable rappers are way above this BS and they flourish from it.

Don't know how T.I. didn't think he was going to catch major heat for this one...

Even respectable rappers are proud of where they are from. The key is just not to dwell on it to a point that East vs West starts up all over again.
Everything else is on point, though.

Exactly. If all of the swedish metal bands constantly boasted their Gothenberg pride and began to oppose metal bands from other areas, it would annoy the shit out of me and I'd be less fond of the bands on a personal level. (Not on a listening level... I listen to a few Southern rap artists, it merely annoys me, doesn't change my listening habits)
