In a piece of breaking news, we can reveal that Brock Lesnar has been cut from the Minnesota Vikings. Dan Patrick reported the cut on ESPN Radio just minutes ago.

Lesnar, former WWE Champion, left World Wrestling Entertainment following his match with Goldberg at WrestleMania this past March with intentions to try out for the NFL. The Vikings were the primary goal for the Minnesota native, who won over the team's coaches with his work ethic. The general feeling was that Lesnar wouldn’t be able to play at the level of others who had continued to pursue a football career when he focused on his amateur and professional wrestling endeavors.

However, The St. Paul Pioneer Press in Minnesota is reporting that Lesnar still has a chance to be added to the Viking's practice squad once final cuts are made this week.

Not going to laugh at him in any way. He wanted to try something he had his mind set on and it didn't work out. Can't really blame a guy for wanting to pursue a dream. I give him props for at least trying. Yeah, he shouldn't of left the WWE so unexpectedly and he has a lot of heat for that.

You really think Vince isn't pouncing at this as an oppurtunity to bring him back. Come on, let's be real. Vince knows Lesnar is a superstar and he will do anything to get Lesnar back in.

To continue on my story....

Customer walks up to the front where Brock is checking out the games and movies, The Kid hands him, Here Comes The Pain.

Customer: You're Brock Lesnar! I'm so going to play as you on this game

Brock throws down the game

Brock: I'm Sorry, that part of my life is over, I refused to acknowledge or assiciate myself with anything Wrestling.

Customer: Well can you just check the game out for me?

Brock: That Part Of My Life Is Over!

The Kid grabs the game and goes back and grabs Madden 2005.

Brock checks out the game for the kid, he exits while saying

Kid: I guess i'll play as you in this game...Oh I'm sorry, you were too crappy to be included on the rosters

The funny thing is that he is still better off than everyone posting here and could care less if Vince McMahon hates him now. His effort should be respected if you read anything about his days on the team. Its barely even a diss to him that he got cut, his chances of making the team were 1/1000 to begin with. I applaud him for a great effort and laugh at you for thinking his life is over because of this.

I give Brock Lesnar all the credit in the world for pursuing what he wanted to do rather than what the mass majority wanted him to do. I've always been entertained by him, even back to his days in NCAA. The way they said he improved, is incredibly admirable. And I don't blame him one bit for talking shit about wrestling (the fans specifically) after Mania. Brock Lesnar = :y:

I'm no Brock hater, and I dont think this is the end of his attempt to play pro football. I think he'll take a run at NFL Europe, try again next year for the NFL and if that doesn't work out, then he'll go back to wrestling.

In terms of burning bridges, he didn't burn anything. Vince will get down on his hands and knees to get Brock to come back at this point. However, I dont think Brock will go back just yet.

Actually, I heard Melt on The LAW last night and he mentioned by Feb or Mar Brock will be a free agent, and its entirely possible that he will start to take bookingd form promotions in Japan. He wouldn't have to be on the road all the time, and would be able to pull him some decent money given his name value.

You can't knock a guy for trying to reach his goal. Props to Lesnar for attempting. Although he is a real jerko, at least he went for it and tried his best.

I believe after a break, he will do Japan or maybe even TNA and yeah, probably before going back to WWE. If he needs money or attention, he will go to Japan because the Japanese will pay alot for a big American superstar (after all, they go ape-shit for Hogan and Nash).

Should that fail, he always has the hoss-lover McMahon who would eliminate the entire Cruiserweight roster just to get the Pain back. And you know he would..

No, you are a clown who deserves a negative rep. Everyone in this forum is living like they were born yesterday, what makes you think that Mr. Lesnar is going to go back to the WWE? There is absolutely no reason why he would. He is living on endorsements now.

I doubt he'd go back either.

Frankly, if he moves on with his life, good for him. He didn't sell out, he just left a job he didn't like. If he's not a hypocrite, he'll continue to work out and try to make the team next year.

If we see him at Armageddon... we give him hell.

Go back to Football school Brock, don't expect to play pro just because you were 'famous'

if he comes back to wrestling I bet that the fans will just chant things at him and he'll freak out.

If he comes back to the WWE, which I hope he does, he'll get a good (heel) reaction that could work wonders if Cena and/or Orton eventually challenged him or vice versa. But then again, when Stone Cold came back from his infamous walk out, I thought they'd use that situation to it's advantage but they never did. They never replayed the segment where Rock told Austin to get the F out during the Austin/Rock feud
