Now come on.

I only rented this because it has Elisha Cuthbert, the hottest chick since ever, but what the hell? It had a clever script at times, and totally played itself out like an awesome bad movie that the teenagers of today will look back on in 15 years and think "Wow, that movie was the TITS."

Which is to say, there were huge holes and uncomfortable moments -- I hate uncomfortable moments, e.g. all Stiller films, so I left the room, but when I came back it went back to being awesome. Eli and Kelly are two of my favorite characters in any movie in the past :dunno: while, and I think a lot of you nerds will enjoy the character Eli, as he's a very awesome sex-obsessed film buff.

Anyway, you don't get to see Elisha naked :( but you see her almost there, and she's dressed pretty hot throughout the movie, which makes it worth the rent ALONE. But in this case, the baked potato, salad and bread do a pretty good job of accompanying the filet.

*waits for people mocking and saying how horrible this film is*

Close-minded Elisha-haters. :foc:

I have looked at the box a few times becuase Cuthbert is delicious, but there's no way I'm paying to watch it.

Just look up pics of her on the internet.

So what exactly is the difference between the regular version and the unrated version, if she doesn't get naked?

Unrated version shows different scenes that are a little more risque. The only thing I can think of is the porn on the TV that you can see which is about as bad as that gets.

Overall the movie was okay, as a comedy it gave me a few laughs.

Also, Elisha Cuthbert is extremely fucking hot.

You son of a bitch lol. Now if my dad looks he probably thinks I'm wanking to porn on the family computer. Oh well, might as well explore now...

It started out like some pussy ass high school drama, but it got pretty good once Elisha was introduced.

The guy called her an asshole. Come on, calling a chick an asshole! That's pretty awesome.

There was no stereotypical behavior with students -- the "jocks" did not mistreat everyone else, only wedgieing the one kid, but they did that to each other as well, therefore they had no teenage stereotypes... I mean, the best example is the Samnang video, the jocks all cheered. I thought that was a relatively subtle way the movie was superior to almost every teen comedy. It was more real in that sense. It had the reality of "the loser has pretty damn cool friends," with the absolute unreality of the main conflict - "Loser falls for porn star and becomes awesome."

It could have easily been another teen movie and may have done better in the box office, IMO, if it dealt with the stereotypical conflicts that most teen comedies have.

Plus, Elisha is hot on video, watching SCREEN CAPS of her is for fags, bro.

The only difference betwene the unrated and rated versions is that the stripper scene with the main kid and the old guy. The theatrical version they had tops on and the unrated version they don't. Pretty much it. Just a marketing ploy.

I thought it was quite a good teen comedy actually. Much better than a lot that has come out lately. Had a John Hughes feel to it.

I liked the movie, had a pretty good story to it. Elisha is hot as hell. Eli is the funniest one on there. Lots of other funny moments in there as well.

Yeah as much as I loved it I wouldn't recommend anyone buying it.

But then, I might buy it myself. :shifty: Though I can't explain why.

I saw the movie the weekend it came out and loved it. I thought it was a very funny ass movie. Eli is definently one of the funniest people ever and I couldnt stop laughing at what he was saying. Also for the next few weeks after seeing it I kept on seeing Elisha Cuthberts face in my dreams and where ever I went. (this was the first time ive seen her...never watched 24 and didnt know at the time she was also one of the chicks in Old School)

When I found out when the movie was coming out I went to the store first thing in the morning and got it and came home and watched it twice. I got the Unrated Version but I still didnt know what was new but that didnt bother me. I loved this movie and thought it was great. and just like Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Dazed and Confused this will become a cult classic. Those movies werent that great but everyone seems to tell everyone else to go rent them.
