Update on Steve Williams

Wrestling great Steve "Dr. Death" Williams is fighting the toughest battle of his life. The 44-year old former WWE Superstar has unfortunately been stricken with cancer.

I've had the pleasure of meeting with him and speaking with him for quite some time, and he's extremely generous in his time with fans and the way he treats everybody. Actually I'm wrong. Dave Meltzer is reporting in his newsletter this week that his cancer got bad enough that he can no longer talk and will have to have his voice box removed. Very sad to hear this. Prayers go out to him.

Ow, that really sucks. I guess last year was the year of deaths, and this year is the year for cancer. Anyway, it's just really scary how cancer can be in remission then suddenly flare up. My best wishes go out to him in his battle. Hopefully he can beat this thing.
