Is it worth getting?
Yeah, any bugs/annoyances?

It's new Microsoft software, I think it answers itself. :p
I heard this was a pretty good installation actually, if you're a huge fan of playlists.

Seems to work fine for me. It is quite hideous though. It looks like they were going for some kind of reflective effect, but it just looks awful.

Hm so far all I have found is that it doesnt like Ac3 audio.
might just be the codec.

So, it's all butter then? I'll give it a go then.

It was just the codec, ac3 works fine now. <O:p</O:p
I haven’t had any problems with MP10 yet<O:p</O:p
One nice thing I have noticed is the improved seeking on DVD mpeg-2 format and also playback of .m2v files which is new and the little graphic equalizer at the bottom looks cool.
<O:p</O:p<O:p</O:p
Lets face it, it will pop up on windows update and you will all end up installing it bundled with SP2a or something in the future anyway, so you might as well get it in and get used to it now eh?<O:p</O:p

Nah, I uninstalled WMP ages ago :D
I may give 10 a try at some point, but I have Winamp, Creative Media Source and iTunes already

so you have 3 programs installed to do the one job?
thats why I just stick with Media Player, it does the job and its already installed.
I just like having a clean comp. If I dont need it, its gone.

I haven't liked winamp since version 3. I have musicmatch, but I lost the key my dad bought during the reformat. I use WMP for movies though. Nero Showtime doesn't work as well for me.
