Only watched it when it was on TNN, and didn't even watch it faithfully. Wish I had but oh well. I'm def. getting this though. WWE DVDs have been awesome lately.

So...I hope those are supposedly great matches. I'll wait and see what the ECW lovers here say.

I watched ECW from 97 and on and I loved it! "OH MY GOD!" The Jerry Lynn/RVD match and the Taz/Bam Bam one to me is worth it. When does this come out? I want it!

Probably pick this up. I liked the Monday Night Wars one they done, although they didn't have enough WCW stuff IMO. This should be good. Wonder if they will mention Tazz going back and winning the title :p

I've read release dates for both Nov. 9th and Nov. 16th. So one of those two dates I'm guessing.

The first Rey vs. Psicosis match was amazing, I can only imagine what 2 out of 3 falls can be.

Whoever picked the content for this DVD should be shot.

^^haha yeah. I mean, I was never a fan of ECW or anything but I know enough and have seen enough to know that Benoit, Malenko, Jericho, Guerrero, Mysterio, Douglas, Cactus and that era of matches should be somewhere on this tape. And of course a Storm match at least. But nobody from the WWE probably even knows any of those matches exist.

Definately a buy though because they really impressed me with the Monday Night War DVD.

Remember,Loose, how WWE treated Benoit and all those stars and such that you mentioned. They gave Benoit and Guerrero the title and that's all they gave them. So a spot on an ECW dvd is unlikely. Besides, all those guys are already on ECW vids and dvds including the Path to Destruction that I own which is very good btw.

Yeah, but look at it this way. Only ECW fans probably own those ECW DVD's as many WWE fans probably don't even know they exist. Remember ECW fans are a cult following. They are only a select few and many casual wrestling fans today probably have never seen those ECW matches. Now, if you were the WWE and you had to Market an ECW DVD. What matches would you put on there? Matches with Pitbull 1, Sandman and Whipwreck who most WWE fans probably don't know or matches with guys WWE fans know and love like Jericho, Guerrero, Storm, and Benoit? Seems like an easy answer to me.

That's true, LC. I would say at least a Jericho or Guerrero match should be in there since more people know them or care for them more than anyone like Benoit or Storm. But then again, they have a 2 Cold Scorpio match and not many can remember him for anything, and maybe not even for his WWF character Flash Funk, so nothing's perfect.

YEAH, I mean a lot of us are going to buy the DVD no matter what anyway. These DVD's the WWE has put out has been like heaven for all of us Internet fans. I don't really care what matches are on here cause I've seen a lot of Guerrero, Benoit, and Jericho matches already.

I'm just speaking more for the casual fan cause they could probably gain a few DVD buys by including matches by the more famous WWE guys. You know what I mean.

BTW: I really hope they show the Douglas throwing down the NWA Title speech. I still haven't seen that to this day.

ECW was all about being raw and extreme, something the WWE knows absolutely nothing about. This DVD will probably be good, but not as good as it would've been had it been put together by ECW themselves.

Hum, so no Shane Douglas? Heh, I doubt we will see any matches or anything else with him in this DVD. :nono:
