What are your guys' opinions on him?

Personally, I feel really bad for him because in all of his interviews and such he is a totally stand up guy. He's not a dick, he's not acting bitter, he is taking it like a man and I respect that a lot. He seems like a real cool guy and I hope he at least dominates the next Olympics.

You assume we know who he is.

I'll take a shot in the dark and say he is a minnesotan athlete who had something misfortunate happen at the Olympics

Orlando Bloom's brother perhaps?

Is he that one dude the NCAA had problems with because he was getting endorsements or something?

Think I saw him on ESPN a while ago.

You haven't heard of Jeremy Bloom? The CU kick returner/world class freestyle skier?
If you haven't heard of him or the story you can go look it up, otherwise don't make stupid posts in a serious thread.

OK, then it is who I though it was.

Was I right on the reason though?

You're right BCWWF, I feel bad for the guy, I mean he didn't do anything wrong. He isn't taking anything for his NCAA career, only for his Olympic efforts. He needs this money in order to particiate in the Olympics, yet the NCAA won'tallow him to take it and still play football.

And while I wish he would have stayed at CU, I commend him for doing the best thing for himself. He seems like a real standup guy and he is taking this very well compared to the way most people would. I hope he goes into the Olympics and goes Michael Phelps all over those slopes.
