Is currently making me fire hot bullets of love into my trousers.

As soon as the EA logo came on, my friends booed at the screen and though that they were gonna fuck with what made Burnout 2 so good. All they've done is add some extra style, and liscense 40 great and 2 not-so-good songs (and add an annoying DJ, who you can turn off :D).

This game is just pure style though. ALL 100 crash junctions are worth playing, the races immense, a HUGE selection of cars to be unlocked, amssive explosions.

In fact, theres only two bad things I can say. They got rid of local high score tables. The only way you can get a high-score is online.

2ndly, the load time is atrocious. Clear space on your hacked XBox/HDLoader for this one, it's virtually needed.

I got hold of the one lap demo today (pre-ordered the XBox version, but could still get the PS2 demo).
Played through it 3 times in a row, mad hot. :cool:

I went in today and got them to price up all the games, and if I trade in the cheapest 5, I'll save about £15.

Plus I got Disgaea, and the Burnout 3 demo on PS2 and Wario Ware on GC with some of the other game's I had.

14 hours, just started last lap of crash tour, but finished the races, and have played online for about 5 or 6 hours.

I've just now got like 75 mil in crash junctions... Finished the second lap of the tour. Have like 7 hours I think?

I got my $100 mil for crashing last night, and finished the GP where you use the forumla 1 like car (that whole GP is a bastard :mad: ).

So now got all the heavyweights, and am working through getting gold on everything else (I wanted to unlock all the junctions and races cause I always host with our friends).

I just rented it, and what an amazing game! Of course, I haven't done anything but Crash Mode yet, but this is the best way to blow off steam in video game form since Vice City.

A couple of days ago I finally got all gold in everything, all but 2 cars (need the signature takedowns (3 to go) and takedown targets (4 to go)), then I will have got 100% :o

not to bad I played silent hill 4 and beat it in 2 days I've been playing Burnout 3 for 2 hours and already bored (could be because Ive just beat test drive Eve of destruction twice and im bored of crashing shit). Im gonna watch a movie and play more later.

Anyone else have the problem (not sure if its just muscle cars) where you'll be on a straight away with the gas down and suddenly your cars speed decreases? Just wondering why that happened

each crash level as a dollar amout beyond gold that will give you a headline... I am pretty sure they are hidden.

Yea, i rented the game like last month and couldn't turn it off..i remember i was late for one of my classes b/c of that game..but it does indeed get you hooked..i LOVE the X-Box version b/c you can rip your own tracks on the game..:)~ Me and my roommate agreed that we will split the money to get it

Wow.. finally just got into the game and.. I could hardly quit playing. It's so addicting.. and just as fun as Burnout 2. I don't really like the soundtrack in the game that much.. but.. just like the DJ.. I'm able to just ignore it. Fantastic game.. 8.8/10.

Dropping the game's rating by .7 Because the computer cheats. (The catch up A.I.).

But what you fail to realise is that if you're behind, they slow down, and your boost bar fills up quicker.

It works both ways - it's known as Rubberband AI.
