I'm not a huge fan of Hull but I could understand where he's coming from right now with the frustration he's facing... Bet he wishes he played for Canada now :)

Since when has Brett Hull made an impact on the world of sports or the NHL?

Lol, as I was waiting for the page to load (damn system is running slow ) I looked at that and was wondering, how in the world did you chose those four symbols? There is absolutely no relationship between them, WTF? Maybe @#$% or something :?:
Also, im just wondering what the occasion was that he made this comment?

Cool. That's the way interviews should be done. Say what's on your mind. None of this "I don't want to hurt any feelings bullshit."
Like I hate when they ask someone say, "So if you had to pick 1 right now, who do you think will win AL Cy Young this year: Mulder, Santana, Pedro, Schilling....?"
Guy Answers: "Well, I think they are all strong possibilities and any one of them could win."
Christ, just pick one. Things like that irratate me.

Pedro won't win it this year, but he's still sweet

Unless Mulder can pitch like he did in the first half over the next few weeks, it's gotta be Santana. Although if Mulder ends up with something like 22 wins and Santana 18, Mulder will probably get it because the voters loooove win-loss records.

I didn't see the interview... what was he responding to?
YOUR Hero
09-06-2004, 12:26 PM
A reporter asked him if he could have a word with him.
Brett Hull said (parapharing here) What do I have to talk about?
The reporter said he wanted to ask on the fans behalf how he was doing.
That when Brett said he didn't give a fuck about the fans anymore.
That was the entire interview.
Brett's just being menstrual because he was benched by Team USA in the world cup... What a team player!
Fuckin Hull man. I guess alot of players feel that way going into the cba eh? That's where the fans stand to them. Or some. I get he's mad at being benched and all, but it isnt the fans fault that you suck now Brett.
Nah he doesnt suck, but c'mon. He doesnt always have to reply to reporters, he often does and gives good quotes and such, but he didnt need to say that specifically.

For some reason I was under the impression that he went from Philly to Phoenix, not the other way around. My bad.

If the USA dresses and plays Hull now, they'd be sending out the wrong message to kids and other players. As far as I'm concerned, they should tell him to go home.
You can't whine and then be rewarded with playing time.
