I choose right now because its the beginning of a new school year, and I often attribute songs with what was going on at the time, which is school. So what have been your favorite songs from 03-04 school year? I'll do mine in a bit.

Can't really think, but The Mars Volta album is really good.
I heard Sparta - Wiretap Scars for the first time in the last year also (also good).

The new Radiohead album was enjoyable.
Billy Talent had a couple of enjoyable tracks.
Muse - Time is Running Out and Stockholm Syndrome = goodness (the album was good, but could've been a lot better).
The Walkmen - The Rat.
The Killers - Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine, Somebody Told Me, Mr Brightside.
The Zutons - Who Killed The Zutons? album was damned good too.
Deftones - Minerva and Hexagram
Goldie Lookin Chain - Guns Don't Kill People..., Half Man Half Machine, Your Mother's Got A Penis

I really enjoyed the Damien Rice album (O) too.

(Can see himself going through his music collection later)
