If you were the General Manager of RAW or Smackdown (doesnt matter) who would you bring back to the WWE. From the indies, NWA, Japan, Mexico... wherever. Who the hell would you be signing back or to the WWE for the first time?
My choice would be:
"The Sport" Kyle Forchetti
Forchetti is a former 5 Time JWF Heavyweight Champion, multi-time tag team champion and has held many other independent wrestling titles around the world. He is ripped like HHH circa 1999, has incredible mic skills and has the drive and will to perform.
So who else?
Raven?
AJ Styles?
Jeff Hardy?
Christopher Daniels?
etc.......

I'd release guys who kinda aren't going anywhere (A-Train, etc), hire back O'Haire, bring Ultimo back from Japan. Hire a bunch of TNA guys (pretty much the entire X-Division) and send them to OVW, before turning Smackdown into a true Cruiserweight extravaganza. Hire back Raven. Form at least 5 proper tag teams. Relegate JBL to velocity. Trade Kenzo Suzuki for a REAL Japanese talent.

Ultimo for the pure fact that Ultimo vs Angle would be an instant 5* classic once they had laced up there boots.
Also I would like to see Christopher Daniels because I feel he is big enough to pull off a good WWE run if he was given a decent chance.

GM of smackdown would be nice.
Bring back the Dragon, hire Psychosis, Thunder Liger and Juventud Guerrera, get Tajiri back from Raw and all the other cruiserweights being wasted and push that dam division! Maybe a nice tourament to kick it all off.
... oh and vacate JBL of the title and put it around Eddie again.

I would want to be GM on SD because Smackdown has the tools but not using them.
I would hired Juvy and Teddy Hart. Build Hart up as the new generation of The Hart Family.
I would bring back Scott Hall to win the WWE title because he deserve it so much.
I would trade Big Show,Booker T,Dupree for Jericho. Bring Jericho to SD and fued with Angle.

Call me dumb if ya want, but I'd bring back Hogan, Austin an' Goldberg. Definitely have old school Kane, an' like all of you other people say, really go for it with the cruiserweight division, so I guess I'd be GM of SmackDown!
As for people I'd release, I'd say bye ta Kenzo, definitely do summat about JBL an' maybe even drop Tazz as an announcer an' get someone much better in ho knows what they're doin'.

If all they are going to do is stick cruisers in tag matches they should bring Ultimo Dragon and Dragon Kid in.

If I was GM I would
Hire back
Ultimo
Raven
Road Dogg
Sean O Haire
Bret Hart[at least for one more run]
The Rock as a full time wrestler.
The Ministry
Fire
Probaly the guys who aren't doing much for the company
FE
A Train
Hardcore Holly
I think Richards
JBL[I hate this guy so much. Very crappy wrestler]
Hire
AJ styles, Amazing Red, basically everyone from NWA
I would put the title on Taker I would bring back the Hardcore title I would put it on Smackdown no crappy 24-7 rule either and put the tag straps on Edge and Christian from RAW NAO from Smackdown.

I will probably bring back Stone Cold to Smackdown!, and make him feud again with the Undertaker, try to mak Brock come for one PPV, fight Eddie Guerrero and Screw Brock Lesnar in the show, bring Cactus Jack and let him fight RVD in a hardcore anywhere match, bring back farook and make him fight Bradshaw, whoever loses is fired, last man standing, make The Rock and screw both of them, and u get Bradshaw and farook fired, The rock Vs John Cena.
That's how i would book the Smackdown Brand
Probably would bring back Ultimo, O'Haire, Lance Storm, Raven, Kanyon, Dean Malenko, and Perry Saturn for sure, and I would recruit most of the X Divsion and ROH workers to rebuild the crusierweight division. I'd also try to incorporate more tag teams like AMW, The Naturals, XXX, and I'd put Rene Dupree back in La Resistance and reunite WGTT.
Heidenreich, A-Train, and JBL would be gone for sure.

I wouldn't hire anyone you don't already know.

Short term would be Bret hart (if he was healthy etc etc)
But in reality I would go with Rock. He's the biggest star, easiest to work with, and can get over as a heel and face with no problem.

Spanky, Raven, Kanyon and Lance Storm would all get hired back
I would build Smackdown as a wrestling show pure and simple.

If I were GM, I wouldn't be allowed to hire anyone, as the GM is an on-air only role. :(

I'd bring back ultimo and treat with some damn respect for starters.
Then I would tag him with Mysterio until the eventual break up(I'd make
Dragon the heel) then have them go 1 on 1 at wm
A.j. styles
put him in a program with eddie. nuff' said
Cristopher Daniels
Throw him against cena since their
excellent mike work could lead to some
very interesting encounters
