What I am trying to figure out is if Edge is heel or face... He seemed that he was turning heel before he tore his groin, but then Bischoff strips him of the IC title and everyone cheers him... He just cant win :nono:

Acctaully I think Orton sucks for completely different reason. I can't believe that no one has made a Kevin Nash refference.

But mostly, I never liked Edge all that much. Christian carried him, and then ever since then he has been in and out of injuries. Infact, if I remeber right, Edge got injured right before he went to Smackdown, came back for like a month, got injured again, moved to Raw during the injury, and came back again for about a month. Now he is injured yet again.

But mostly, I think he was just riding on Christian's coattails. Edge is decent, but if he isn't teamed up with a Christian, or a Jericho, or a Rey Jr. or anyone, he doesn't seem to have any focus in his promos or anything. Edge just always seemed decent at best.

Actually to correct you.He was on smackdown for 3 months,got hurt doing the top rope spear in the cage match against Angle in May 2002.Was back in July and was healthy till Feb.Which was a combination from all the bumps he took over his career.Came back in April and recentally got hurt againnowhich is 5 months later.

Thank you, Big Daddy Kool! I thought I was the only one who hated Edge. I was always the Xtian fan because while everyone liked Edgeward, no one noticed how good Xtian can be. BigDaddyCool, I highly doubt that Edge rode Christian's coattails, but it seemed to me that it was the other way around. Edge got the bigger crowd reactions when they were a team, and it was only after Edge got hurt badly that Christian may have passed him in popularity.

I always thought Christian carried the team, both in the ring and in terms of promos. Edge was just always positioned as the guy who get the big push because of his size. Edge was given the KOTR, he was given the IC title first, he was given the big programs with Hogan, Angle and Jericho before Christian.

I like both guys, but I hate the way they have used Edge since his return. He was brought to RAW for no good reason, and it hasn't helped him any. I want to see how he'll do as a hell, which is obviosuly happening.

I'm guessing you ment heel there. He is lukewarm as a singles face...he was good as a tag team heel. But I'm guessing he will/would be just a little bit better than X-Pac as a heel.

I say just let him work as a tweener. The loose cannon (no disrespect to Pillman) sort of character where you don't know how he's going to react to a certain situation. I thought that's how it was supposed to be originally anyway with his enigmatic sorta thing. Entering from the crowd and such.

He's not bad, in my opinion. I used to like him when he first debuted, but I really haven't liked him at all since his move to Raw.

In fact, I think part of the reason is that his spear is so sh</>itty.

Naw, he sucked back then too. And he isn't crazy enough to be able to pull of the loose cannon thing. Pillman could, because he looked crazy, and could do a good crazy eye. Edge just smiles, and bounces.

Edge and Christian should team up once Edge is healed, not as a permanent tag team but just as allies, the way Christian and Jericho were earlier this year. They could go to a more hard-edged version of their old team, trying desperately to keep out of trouble and being cocky and arrogant, but a lot more dangerous and vicious than they were before.

Edge has two problems, Injuries and wrong brand.

Edge is built for Smackdown. He have great chemistry with Eddie,Angle,Rey,and Chavo.

SMackdown show atmosphere just work well with Edge. The bright lights,colors,etc. I always thought putting Edge on Raw was stupid. It's kinda like putting Kane on Smackdown,it will never feel right. Can you imagine Kane on Smackdown?

I kinda like Edge as serious but Edge is a funny guy. His skits with Angle was real funny.

They need to do a trade and put Edge back on SD and RVD back on Raw.
