I'm 1-1
Going with my heart is what's gonna get me. I really should have picked New England but my being gay for Peyton Manning wouldn't let me. I thought about it but then I was like "Wait... I honestly think that Indy has a chance so it's not REALLY just wishful thinking." I gotta put the game before my pride.
#1-norm-fan
09-12-2004, 06:10 AM
WTF. This year it has this big red "Incorrect" next to the pick if you're wrong. That's much more hurtful than the red X last year.

What the hell? If you're such a huge Manning fan, then you would know that he can't win in NE.

2-0 heading into Sunday's games. Well, only two people didn't get the first 2 games. So it isn't that huge but, yeah I'm doing pretty good in my college pick 'em league and I don't even watch CFB that much. The pro game is where its at.

Detroit should be able to win next week, if their secondary gets healthy. Starting off 2-0 would =
No way they'll be able to beat the Eagles in week 3 though
Gonzo

I know for myself the Giants play the Redskins and if Portis shows up again then it is a nice ol' 0-2 start this year.

Normally I'd pick GB at home too, but the Giants have been surprisingly good on defense this year (they have like 13 turnovers or something) and Barber is playing his best football since forever. Warner too, he's probably been the biggest surprise player of the year so far. Plus with McKenzie gone (well, injured at the time of the game) and Green Bay's defense in general a bit off, they just don't look like they can really do much of anything right now.
