Eyetoy

[Hum]

I just got a PS2, and was wondering if any of you out there who have it recommend it. Also, how long is the cable to connect it? I have a 55'' tv and I'm wondering if the cable is long enough, also, does it have to be directly in front of you? Thanks.

Dunno, looks kind of stupid to me.

I would suggest getting it once games start incorporating it, as in allowing you to put your face in the game or somthing.

For now, I really don't see any reason to get it, it's just a glorified webcame for the PS2.

I have it. It's pretty fun but it can get pretty boring. You can put it anyway just adjust the lens so it's in front of you I guess. Pretty decently long cable as well. If you have the extra money for it I would say get it but don't save up for it I guess.

What DS said... we had some interesting times with it when he got it, but yeah... it got boring.

I saw it at a Best Buy it was entertaining for the first few minutes then it got boring and stupid. I really wouldn't recommend wastin money on it.

I went out and got it one day because I had so much fun playing with it at Walmart. Sadly the fun stopped because after a week I havnt played it anymore. The games get boring after a while and all you have to look forward to are the new games they are making. They have an Eyetoy Version 2 type thing coming out...game not camera...it has a few more games on it. It might be out now I have no clue. But they are starting to make games where you can do certain things with the eye toy. I know harry potter has a quidditch game you can play with the eye toy. MLB baseball will let you put your face on a player. And that is pretty much all i know so far.

I know that future games will be eye toy compatible, either for minor things like create a person, or bigger things. DDR will be incorporating the eye toy into it's game, and will make you have to use your hands and feet when you play the game. Should make it interesting and harder, which is always a plus.

I had to get rid of my old PS 2 cause it was broke and when I bought a new one the eye toy thing came with it. It's alright if you have several people over but if you have no friends, never go outside or interact with people then I wouldn't bother
